There is always a bigger fish, so you'd better bring a bigger gun.

The operation and maintenance of absurdly large firearms - miniguns, rocket launchers, flamethrowers and the like.

Big Guns include weapons such as Medium and Heavy Machine Guns, Miniguns, Flamers, Launchers, and Anti Material Rifles. While each big gun has a unique playstyle, they usually tend to focus on AoE (Area of Effect) or CC (Crowd Control) effects and are by no means better than small guns just because they're larger. At the same time, their use is much more specialized and it is nothing strange that big gun characters might often find themselves using small guns and weapons from other categories when they are not taking part in a coordinated Zone Control action, since big guns and their ammunition are expensive.
