In general, armors offer a much better protection than bluesuit, even compared to other FOnline games and the original Fallout's. The intended effect is that bluesuits will be very easy to kill, so everybody will need some kind of armor. The difference between the best and the worst armor is reduced, and in combination with the armor traits, a larger number of armors are be viable in different situations.
