I would definitely say closer to M&B than For Honor. Played a bunch of for honor in the tests, and they are not really anything alike.
It is similar to AoP in that the premise is that you will be in kingdoms fighting for control over zones on a shared map or somesuch soon. It's still in testing and too early to boast many features in that mode from what I've played, but the melee combat is solid.

Watched some of the streams, combat looks punchy and engaging. The group fights are pretty big and in certain shots it looks like you're a soldier from one of the Total War games toe to toe with the enemy. I like.

I really want to see players form up into ranks when they spawn (on both sides) set up archer lines n stuff. Maybe a hardcore mode with the little enemy indicator turned off would encourage this, but thats just me...S'prob never gonna happen.

There were some guys doing shield walls in one of the streams, but it's hard to keep people in line without more organization.
There will be more of that once the "Epic Campaign" starts.

Anyway, that's one of the places I've been, instead of around here being useful
