Lore friendly weapons!

How did you do that? It looks like something out of a hardware catalog, so real. :D

I made an inventory icon, hope you dont mind.
Textures look bad on the big version of mine but it looks nice and old when its smaller.
As it would be in your inventory :)

A pair of HtH wrenches fastened with a thin chain.
Great for hurting all who oppose you, or giving yourself a black eye...Go on...Give em a swing!

Exactly!

Now all we need is a chain in-game, and we can craft the Wrenchuck!

You know stuff, care to contribute some stats? :D

Really love the inventory icon  ;)

Here my take

AP: 25
Range: 2
Damage 55 - 70 (Swing)

V1 unaimable weapon (focused on suppression to stop foes from run away). I really like the idea of a HtH weapon that can cause suppression
Traits:
-Nunchuck Norris:(dont have imagination for a better name): every time you hit an enemy its a small chance that you hit yourself for half of the base damage. Chance based on (300-melee skill)/5
-Unreliable
-AP Drain (2)
-Suppression: every hit have 25% chance to cause suppression.
Perks:
BRoF
Hit the Gaps
Finisher
more supresión(2) (+7.5% per rank)

V2 aimable weapon (much like wakizashi but for melee)
Traits:
-Nunchuck Norris
-Unreliable

Perks:
Better knock-out
Knockout strike
Finisher
BRoF
Hit the Gaps

@Snowcrash

Thanks, but I couldn't have made it without that fancy 3d model...I need to learn that.
I checked the Wiki to try and figure out what it all means but I can't find a list of weapon perks and I don't know what most of them do off hand.
Can anyone offer links to the information?

Thanks for coming up with that, even if I don't know what most of it means.

Someone tell SnowCrash if he done good. :D

I want to be NunWrenchuck ninja!

(EDIT) The only thing I can offer is I think it should be craftable only I don't think vendors (Even in the wastes) would stock such weapon for sale.

Which I guess would make it a rather common weapon since wrenches are easily obtainable, but perhaps a chain can be the rarer material required?
(I can try to make an image for separate chain if required, perhaps PusiteGA has an image of the chain without the wrenches attached?)

What im trying to say is, if its a tier 1 weapon the stats should reflect that, same goes for tier 2.

Also you suggest a 25 AP cost (Per swing) for damage of 55 - 70.
What would a crit be? 110, 120?
That seems kinda high for relatively light piece of metal, I can fire 3 shots from a deagle with 100 AP with a average damage output of perhaps 45 - 80 with crits at 120 maybe 135.
I can't see a hunk of metal doing more damage than a bullet to the face.
Of course it should also go on HTH skills, and I know nothing.

Just an opinion.

Thanks PusiteGA I love the model, and enjoyed playing with it.

P.S Thanks for links!

(FINAL EDIT) Please, I must ask they be referred to as "Wrenchucks" from now on and not "Wrenchchucks" the two "CH" sounds following each other just isn't right on the tounge  :D

Thanks, it didn't require much and I like the angle.
Just added a little (dis)color and made its size relative to the inventory.

Cool stuff thanks for sharing!

Now all we need are "reasonable stats and perks", maybe some ground art and someday we could be wasteland ninjas. ;D

(Edit) There is a rather large border around the image of the chain and I dont know how to crop it back to a more suitable size. :/

I'll try to do it, but if its possible and he feels up to it. PusiteGA could maybe do it inside the original software and reupload, that would be awesome and appreciated.

Perk for it:
Hit the Nuts - all unaimed critical hits act as if they where aimed at the groin, all misses act as critical misses and you hit yourself on the head.

Well, i tried to make it balanced as a 2 tier weapon. Ripper does 45-65 for 20AP and have decreased DR.
I agree that it feels more like a tier 1 weapon, but in that case no one will use it excep for some fun

@3.14
I like Hit the Nuts, but feels more like a trait instead, and seems much more better than the crapy one i suggest

@PusiteGA

There is a square (Invisible) border around the whole image, I dunno how else to explain it.

If you look at the image I reuploaded you can see space around the chain on the left and below that shouldn't be there.
The space that the wrenches occupy in the original image is still present on the image of chain only .
Almost asif the wrenches have just been rendered invisible but are still there.

Sorry for the poor explanation, hope you understand what I mean :D

+1 Hit the nuts!  ;D

(EDIT) Heres and example of what I mean.

This is what it looks like when I load it up, the box is the entire image.
See how the chain is all up in the right corner?
Thats how the image came out on your end, I wondered if you could centre/crop it, make the box smaller? :)

Mmm, :( sorry my skills/knowledge are pretty basic you clearly know more about this than I do.
I'm learning as I go, what takes you five minutes may take me two hours to figure out.
I started messing with images and art software mostly just after launch so I'm still learning even basic things, music is my comfort zone.

Please look at these last few images, see how much space there would be in the inventory screen between items?
Look at the box around the flower, then look at the box around the chain.
The flowers box is tight up to the edges and the chain has unused space around it.

I can do certain things easy enough, but making that box smaller isn't something I know how to do yet.
Go ahead laugh it up! :D

Np just its simple what program you using for editing pictures? It can be done on 2-3 weys simplest is to decrise  image size, or box select dimension you like and copy to new layer and export, probbably some more even easyer wey its 20 sec job

hope this ok

That looks great!

And now you have told me what the process is called I can find out how to do it.
Thanks for your patience.
I'm using Inkscape, Its kinda basic but I was told its good for beginners.
I am also messing around with photoshop a little.
Pretty sure you could have done all of that on your end in a just few minutes but thanks for letting me play anyway haha :D

Here we go!

Four variants for Cirn0 to choose from. Of course, only if it please m'lord.
