Most OP build/weapon
« on: September 26, 2014, 11:17:29 AM »

Since I can reroll now, what do you guys think is the most OP combination of build/weapon?

It can be anything EW, SW, BG, HtH... just post the most gamebreaker combo.

Broc flower and rocks, and make sure you take a box of noodles and a blue condom.

It's definitely the most broken build, I see npcs wielding this powerhouse all the time.

Should I just create a new character?
At this point it seems Chatacter without GIFTED  = useless for pvp

Devs should make a server rstart to allows us all to get GIFTED and SKILLED.

No gifted = useless for PvP? Where the heck are you all catching that "gifted" plague?
Why does none of you people understand that SP is much more important in this FOnline than S.P.E.C.I.A.L?
Go ahead and I'll just laugh at videos yet to come, where a full squad of disabled gifted characters will throw smoke nades with the speed of a turtle, or stun nades which will do absolutely nothing, or "healers" who will heal for 30-40 hp (if you are lucky and have a leather jacket on yourself), otherwise Hooray for 15-20 hp -100AP cost!!!
And also sneakers with 130-150% sneak, who won't do anything =\.
BUT HEY, they'll have those JUICY 8 hp! And like 0.8 Ap+ regen! (everything else is usually maxed to 10, except for ST and AGI).

The plague hit me through misinterpretation of wording in two separate instances, once cleared up I can say that the perk is relatively balanced (even though I think it is still too heavily weighted, but nonetheless), it is a viable choice between getting and not, and both decisions have advantages.

IMO, you CANNOT be OP by yourself  (not counting you, Ramon.)    It really only starts to get dangerously OP with a few types of builds working together.  The ones I've observed working well:

2+ snipers in a group

Multiple BGers and a Sniper

A couple EW users, a couple crit-wores, and a melee char or 2.

A Wall of torsospammers

Sneaks in any concentration higher than 1

Ive been shot for 310+ damage before, I am assuming by some kind of BG sniper rifle ( most of which have unreal range 80 hex + range)
Some OP shit these Big guns,  and grenade launchers for ZC.  But then again plasma cannon is pretty spectacular, but it is expensive, and the projectile is really slow ( like you can see it comming and dodge it pretty much)  But energy guns can counter armors defenses, like electric VS metal armor, plasma VS leather, etc.

Sneakers and BG snipers are currently OP, without the boost of leadership modules

Lol Sabbarab once walked away from a plasma cannon shot.

"Oh dear, is that a plasma ball? Better walk briskly to the other side, no hurry."

Generaly the most OP characters are ones with very high damage output or capable of nullifying their targets ability to fight, so your heavy snipers and Melee characters (mostly stealthed) or/and characters who can crit fast and regularly.

which i dont understand: snipers 10 luck.
8 luck should be way more enough but no. 2 stat point for 5% aimed crit gosh
so as 10 pe, that 4 sight range and 1 hex shoot range is super important to them.
and the 1 agi guys who enjoying every hit kd them.

If I read the wiki and understand it correctly, INT gets you more chance to score a critical hit.
While LK gives nore chance to score a critical hit and more chance to deal more damage. BUT although having LK 10 will give you more chance to score more powerful critical hits then LK 1, it does not make your critical hits more powerful. It s just about probability.

Is this correct?

Yes but that probability becomes reality very often when you have high luck.

Most certainly.  It can mean the difference between a 50HP crit and a 100+HP crit from the same weapon, same ammunition.  A player with lesser luck can find themselves getting lucky, but it's just far more often.

That said, I'm inclined to agree with the poster a few back that 8 is more than acceptable to get the best criticals at a better rate without gimping yourself.   There's definitely cause to add more if you can, but it's a lot more diminishing in value from 8-9 than from say 8-10.  Completely removing that initial first slot in the table could prove worth it, but not necessarily at the cost of potentially 5'ing everything else or worse.
