It needs a buff, this is out of control! I disassembled 15 ak's with my new account (85% science). I get no skillpoint at all! And repair should be more cheaper. Why everything needs that oil/kevlar class stuff? and why 2 OF THEM?? leather jackets should need 1 or a half! it raises % so slow. waste 20 kevlar worth 1000 to repair a CA instead of buying a new for 325? (edit: its not 325 anymore, it become cheaper!) I know i shouldnt repair shitty things, and I usually don't do. But how else to raise a skill then? :o
i go level 24 + have all schematics faster than i reach 100 enginering / science. And 100 is not high number at all, i need 120 req for a lot of things. Whats the point of this slowness?

How to calculate this? Why its not affect the critical agility directly? I am a bit confused, please explain!

I never forget the awkward moment when I realized the logged off character won't leave the core after 1-2 minute.

Once I logged off at our gate with buddies around me, then I came back after hours found myself without my best gear. I accused my friends of killing me right after I left.

I just imagine how happy could be that lost enemy noob who defeated me in a 10 min 'fight' with his zip gun.

First of all, 5<PE only affects your effective range if you do aimed shots. Torso shots only suffer hit chance penalty if PE is 4 or lower.

Aimed shots: With low weapon skill (150-200), PE plays important role in amied shots' hit chance, but if you reach 250, or just say it is above 200, PE only have minimal effect.

According to Range Calculator app made by 3.14 (http://fonline-aop.net/forum/index.php?topic=1110.0):

At 250 weapon skill / 70 max weapon range, with every point of extra PE your effective range increases by ~1 hex which is very marginal. Sharpshooter counts as 2 PE.
For lower weapon range (like 40-50) 1 extra point of PE does less than 1 hex increase. For high range (100) it will do a bit more than 1 hex.
I fear this is true. PE is definitely not the STAT what you want to max out, even if you are sniper, unless you have OCD.

Isn't something wrong with sharpshooter? if i test with 3 PE+sharpshooter, it gives worse result than 5 PE without sharpshooter.
Isn't sharpshooter supposed to count as 2 PE?

i made combat armors and only science raised
i made energy spears and nothing happened (besides +250 xp)
should i build AKs 47s?

edit: i made 3 AKs47, i got no engineering
im just unlucky or im doing it wrong? i dont wanna waste more.
(i have 86% eng)

Dmg would be:
100*0.5 = 50
50-10 = 40


i thought it calculates by this:
100-10 = 90
90*0,5=45

DR comes first?

Don't forget you level only 23 times not 24, because you start lvl1 which have no bonus skillpoints.

Charisma applies if you join to a squad (especially lead one).
Squad leader's charisma gives bonus to squad members, as well as squad members receive bonus for their own charisma by being lead.

Thank you guys for the fast reply, the fodev.net link was actually very useful. I enjoy pvp more than pve if it comes to multiplayer, but Fallout 1-2 was an awesome single player rpg and I seek an opportunity to have similar experience in co-op with friends.

Were you thinking of trying to make your own version of Fonline with more PvE elemements? or just asking if there is one that already exists?

You can log in at the gate of the core (world map) fully armed with more alts. it reduces time to get another chars to war zone.
If you hide other alts to a building near the zone (toilets where nobody enters) makes you instantly get to the zone after you die with main char. Its just preplanning, planting alts around the zone and get them "off" mode. Ofcourse if somebody finds them they have no chance to survive ;)

If somebody have 2 machine or laptop, he dont even have to quit with alt. If it has been attacked, he just turns to the other monitor. Maybe some programmer kid can make a workaround to run fallout multiple times, and play on shared screen... well you may think it is unfair, i think its just clever, i wish i had more accounts / pcs to do this. :c

hotkeysconfig.exe has really limited options for me. i dont find any default ingame hotkey, just the ones arent listed in f1 help (like aimed shots, quick item use). may i miss something?

i thought about this topic since my childhood, the only thing changed by years is my st and en)

S:5 (i think its total average now)
P:9 (eagle eye, decent hearing)
E:6 (i do physical activities like running im a bit better than average)
C:2 (im kinda antisocial solo player)
I:8 (all iq test ~130 + i think im open minded, educated etc)
A:7 (i have good coordination, flexibility, i do tasks fast but i lack precise movements needed for drawing, handiwork & fine tuned stuff)
L:4 (i have more unlucky moments but sometimes i can be very lucky)

Another question : How many skill points do I need to raise a tagged skill from 100 to 250 and from 100 to 200.

Thanks guys for the detailed explanations.

I have GIFTED but not Skilled. And my combat skills started at 75%.
Wondering if even in that case I'd be able to max a combat skill to 250% (and hoe many skill point would be left in that case for other skills)?

Then you would need 675 point to max it out which is currently impossible without the Skilled because even with 10int+educated, you get 621.
