Some build questions.
« on: September 01, 2014, 11:42:27 PM »

So if I only take 1 CHarisma, am I going to be missing out on tons of squad bonuses?  Like 15% damage resist, +30 hit points +10% damage,+4 AP regen, or something crazy like that?

And can someone explain crit strength from the crit table?
Is it stupid to not go for 10 luck so I can always  roll good on the crit strength table?
I am not 100% sure how important the table is, what exactly is the difference between rolling 5 crit strength, or 6 (max) crit strength?  Is it significant?

I looked at the wiki and it was no help, what exactly is a roll strength of 6? or 5?

By taking one charisma, yes, you do limit the bonuses you'll get from a squad leader (assuming you have one.) That doesn't mean that you need to max charisma, especially early on when no one has leadership modules.
Pretty much anything 3 or above is "okay" (assuming you aren't the leader of the squad.)
As far as luck and resist, that's really just up to you. The different crit resists (I believe) effect the crit modifier of the crit coming at you, and the severity/chance of injury.
So if you have no crit perception, you've a much higher chance to be blinded by an even half-decent eyeshot.
I'm not sure what crit strength is tied to however -- perhaps arms?

ok, I will rephrase my question.
There are two things called critical strength
1:Critical strength your crit resistance to things that target strength ( ie knocking weapons)
2:the crit 'strength' from 1-6 on the crit/luck table

I am talking about (2)
How much stronger is a crit strength of 6 on the critical table, than a crit strength of 5?
What are the effects?  Does it do a lot more damage?
