I am waiting for the release of ashes of phoenix and saw something, 2 files needed are from the actual fallout 2 file. where can I get these 2 files if I don't have fallout 2?

Don't think you can unless some where in a remote place you can find them on the internet.  you need master dat, and critter dat files from fallout 2

these files are on the fallout 2 cd. Any version will do, though the language and other restrictions like gore will be kept, I personally didnt even know that fallout had so much gore until I bought f2 again sometime 2011 when my old gold games 4 german fallout went MIA.
