I came across robbers i think, and adventurers, they were fighting, but the adventurers were being kind of stupid.
They will kill one robber, and then regroup and start walking in their random path again like there was no combat, and then they would kill one robber, and then walk back to their positions like there was no combat,

Please either launch on friday morning, friday night, or saturday morning, please!
That way we have the whole weakend.
or some kind of weekday night, but not the end or middle of the weekend!

they will be able to tell how many are going to zone control anyway simply be logging on and asking, not everyone in the faction is going to go fight in the same place necessarily.
But maybe you are right.

But it works the other way too, if there are 4 brahmin boys, and 60 Vtec they will know ZC will just be a waste.

What if you just had a daily faction status that updated say once a day?   
Lawyers:  40 people played lawyers today
Vtec:  35 people played Vtec today
etc etc.

there actually is a fast travel system, at least in lawyers and brahmin boys. It can certainly be fleshed out a bit, but you can talk to "servants" for the lawyers for example to get ported to certain locations within the map. Same for the BBQ.

oh ok, i knew lawyers had but did not know brahmin boys had porters.

I am thinking either brahmin boys, or Vtec is going to be the least popular.
* I think vtec is last on the list when you choose
* Vtec base in certain areas is very congested, people will be getting in the way of other people in the elevators, and rooms etc. and this will cause players to leave
*Brahmin boys will only attract certain types of players, not to insult anyone.
*havent really tested it, but it looks like there is a lot of running around in brahmin boys base.

And I think the two biggest factions are going to be lawyers, and family.

Ok the formula is weird, the accuracy will go from 67% to 95% simply by moving one hex, so if you have only 1 str with a 5 min str gun you just need to find the sweet spot, which is only about 5-6 hexes closer to the target than a character with the same gun skill with 5 str.
So the accuracy penalties are pretty minimal =/
and this is with only 200% gun skill.  using range 50 weapons with no accuracy perk.

We are definitely going to see 1 STR crit snipers, no problem, unless the str accuracy penalties are increased.

I will try to work out a better formula for you guys ;)

ehh?  I just tested it with 1 str 200 gun skill at 35 hex range, almost max range for the gun I was using, it said 95%, I had no accuracy penalty.  Maybe formula only works when people try to shoot from really long ranges, ie sniper rifles?

Naturalist:
You gain X2 regen health when eating healthy fruits, and 30% more regen from stims, and your health regen is +3.
you do not receive as much healing from cookies, and you take 10% more damage from poisons, toxins, and you take 5% more damage from energy weapons.

so if you have 1 str, and using a 5 min str weapon how do you calculate how easy it will be for your weapon to drop?

I thought maybe you would have accuracy penalties, but I am not noticing any.  and I don't know how to calculate for weapon drop?

About gunrunners, this is intended. Later on, there will be NPCs there, selling you equipment.
Bottom right corner, there is a metal desk.

LOL what? merchant NPC's inside city core?  can you kill them?
Can you sell them random junk for caps?

* Cannot attack when doing aimed shot with thrust when using combat knife, it spends my action points, and does not attack
*same thing with snake spear, cannot attack with it, uses action points, in both modes
*There is a container in the building in the right bottom corner of wall mart, a desk, you cannot loot it because a chair is in the way

*there are several big lockers or ''ammo boxes'' in gun runners you cannot get to due to big bar table.

I would be very happy if min maxing was not important.
A happy medium, jack of all trades character would be nice for a change.

So do all of the SPECIAL have diminishing returns?
What is preventing someone from going 1 PE? and buff everything else?

You said you limited making min max characters, so how exactly was this done?
What is stopping someone from taking 1 STR  10 luck 10 int sniper, and just get weapon handling perk?

This is sounding like a bad idea, anything that promotes alts for a specific task is bad.

So now people will make their ''lockpicker alt'' specifically for these situations.

*No more mister nice guy:  When you get knocked down you get 10% bonus to damage for 6 seconds  ( maybe substitute critted for kod?)
( Derived stat modifiers traits)

*Adrenaline:  10% damage resist when you get hit for 70 hit points of damage or more. for 5 seconds. (alternative name: Duck and cover)

*Run for it:  50% to runspeed for 7 seconds when your hp drop to 1/3, cooldown 30 seconds.
( Derived stat modifiers traits)

*Lucky SOB: 18% chance that an attack that would normally have killed you will leave you with 1hp.

*I'm old school: +100% damage when 1 hexing
(JUST KIDDING)

*Old hasbeen: your shots take 25% more actionpoints, but you gain 15% damage, and 15% crit chance. ( kind of lame maybe? =/)

*Finish The Job: +5% damage, and accuracy when targeting enemies who are down to less than 50% of their max hitpoints.
( Derived stat modifiers traits)

personally i like finish the job, it is not over powered, it doesn't require poor devs to mess with timers, and is pretty straight forward.
