Critters balance in Phoenix
« on: October 07, 2014, 05:15:56 AM »

So do you people don't really like strong critters in phoenix?
I heard opinion that it messes up the pvp. But personally I think it gives its more variety.
I'm really sad that I don't see those mobs I've seen before. There was more variability, wasn't it? Not sure right now.
I'm really sad that have no any danger to groups with at least 3 people anymore (only hospital and some rare critters).
Opinions?

I heard ghouls are insane but usually you see them before they see you so not so dangerous.

Bootlegers are the funnies guys I've encountered personally. Wiped me and any1 with me anytime I saw them, gave no chance.

Also once when we were holding some ZC in the first week, me and a couple of others were killed in the process, but others pushed back. So we hurried to back them up with a new set of gear and just when we were exiting hospital on the south grid, a ghoul group spawns on us and wipes us in a matter of seconds. Was fun, especially explaining that ;D.

I think it's actually pretty awesome myself when mobs just annihilate the hell out of me. You can ask STALKER, I once encountered him and his friend at Maryland Avenue and I ran out to leave the building, as soon as I was visible to the outside a group of ghouls instantly reduced me to goo. Didn't even see them until I was dead, it was sweet.

I do think spaws were ok the last time I played, I remember seeing at late September some weird mob locations, like a entire pack of Deathclaws inside some random house in Polymer.

Animals living in the houses are really cool, agreed.
Funniest thing I've seen were those plants in the middle of the room.

I don't mind strong mobs, but there's a difference between being pounced by Super Mutants in hospital and then being pounced by a pack of deathclaws in Eastern Square.

Also, deathclaws really need a power-up and more rarity, I think they're too common lately.
