Well, it's to give SMGs a purpose in life. But it fails to do so, even on low hp targets SMG is completely outclassed by pistols on their max range, shotgun at mid range and melee at minimum range.

If it was Rain of bullets trait AND slayer they would at least have a purpose in chasing down wounded targets that are fleeing.

The needler was fine before, now you have increased it's eff range and minimum damage?

You have essentially gone back to what it was a few weeks ago - bullshit.

You're pretty much a retard if you think lower capacity, doubled reload cost but an average damage of +0.5 points(!) is bullshit.

Regular pistols still 1.5x as much dps and 5 more range.

once again weasel proving he doesnt know how ingame mechanics work but he needs to shitpost on forums about his wrong opinion

here calculation so he can learn:
lets assume pancor shotgun rolls a 108 on its damage range

With slugs its one big 108 damage projectile
with red ammo, thats 12 projectiles hitting for 9 damage each.

we are shooting metal armor mk3 with it: 21DT and 55DR
the slug round (0DT / 0DR) will do (108-21) * 0.45 = 39 dmg (and 30% of that as additional bleed)
buckshot (-60DT / -5DR) will do 12*(9-(21*0.4) * 0.4775 = 5 dmg (and 150% additional bleed)

but according to weasel, buckshot has higher armor penetration in aop

With 200 sneak, a stealthboy, a CAmk3 and a minigun, you are always visible
