« on: October 04, 2014, 04:50:12 AM »

Now it does not matter what type of similar armor you are using to repair. My suggestion:
- br. leather jacket - no change
- br.combat leather jacket - additional 7% condition
- br.leather coat - additional 15% condition
- br. leather armor - n/c
- br. leather armor 2 - 7%
- br. fire leather armor - 15%
- metal armor - n/c
- metal armor 2 - 7%
- tesla armor - 15%
- br. combat armor - n/c
- br. combat armor 2 - 7%
- br. combat armor 3 - 15%

He meant it as that the higher level broken armor should help patch up some more compared to the lower ones

Not bad suggestion but very bad math. I think this should be way more simple. In case you are using same armor and broken armor piece, you get 50% boost to repairing condition (aka 6=>9, 8=>12, 15=22 etc.)

Now why your math was bad. Right now I can repair combat armor mk3 for 6%, now giving it 15% bonus wouldnt be realy balanced would it. Also mark of the broken combat armor doesnt tell you how broken it is, or how good you can scavenge it for useful parts, thats why my suggestion is about Same armor + Same broken piece rather then broken armor only.
