I suggest to remove all doors from that dungeon.
The loot is astronomical there, around 4-6k caps, 2-5 nuka caps, 0-3 repair kits. I can solo the dungeon with no problem. It would increase the difficulty of the dungeon if you were to remove the doors. It would also remove the ability to exploit fire grenades and bad AI.
After you throw a grenade, close the door. When dogs receive the damage from the fire they run next to the closed doors, this way you can burn the dogs while the doors are closed.
