Cover system

When fight begins, it's important to use the field as well as you can. Finding covers is one of the most important things to consider.

  • While standing behind a cover, you're protected from attacks coming from the other side and they have less chance to hit you. There is a minimal distance of 4 hexes for covers to work. From closer, they cease to protect at all.
  • Strength of covers depends on the cover itself. Boxes, barrels, cactuses, piles of tires or rubble are effective covers.
  • Bigger elements such as cars are big enough for you to entirely hide behind them. That's why those elements block the field of view and are considered as shelters, rather than covers.
  • Smaller elements, such as chairs and wooden tables are not considered as covers.
