FOnline: Ashes of California Co-op Project
« on: August 30, 2016, 08:56:04 PM »

As I just posted over at Fodev, I spontaneously decided to have a go at an AoP style recreation of fallout 1+2 as a Co-op project. As such it will not conflict with AoP or any other server for that matter and it does not mean that AoP will be neglected. This is a personal project of mine and does not necessarily involve the rest of NNYT, although they will obviously have a part in it one way or another.

AoC will use the current revisions of AoP and probably even keep its item balance so that the wiki, if it was updated, would interchange.

Here's a public trello to help me and everyone else to keep track of the progress.

For more info, check the thread on Fodev.

That is very, very little information about the Project.

Who is the PM ? Is that you John? Do you have project backers?

With who you "co-op"? The answers to this one pulls more questions.

Who are the NNYT (No Name Yet Team) members? What is the current full list of members of this new project of yours?

But most of important of all. Why do you tell us this? Do you seek help? Do you just wish to inform us of the existence of project?

Meanwhile on AoP we're trying to perfect the wood-chopping experience with the most euphoric wood-chopping sound clips.

I mean what input on the gameworld? You cannot pick two different options for the same quest? Having the npc react to two different character builds ? Talk to you as a mal moron chosen one, then a female bright chosen one in a row ? Have the players side both with the bishops and mordinos? The games are tailored for oneccharacter doing all the interactions and have the game world react to him. So I wonder which parts of the player input will be taylored for coop, which one relie on one player, and which ones will be heavily modified to suit various possibly different inputs.
