DMR viability

I really love the huge variety of weapons and playstyles available, good work devs. The DMR style sniper rifles look really interesting to me, so I'm wondering if it would be possible to use them effectively in a build that incorporates the Fast Shot trait? I understand this would lessen their crippling ability, but are there any other reasons it's a bad idea?

It's the army, we got power in numbers
And that's .9s, .45s, .357s, and M500s

Maximum hit chance is 90% instead of 95%. Attacks cost 10% less action points what means ca 8 ap less per shot with BG Sniper rifles (deployed) and 2-7 ap less for SG. There is a great difference between the SG Sniper rifles. I think thats a better trait for machine gunners.

War is cruelty. There is no use trying to reform it. The crueler it is, the sooner it will be over.
