make the sewer rats more prominent, and their quests not shit. Then make joining a faction more significant.

I know people will QQ that they can't create a character and begin swarming the core with their faction in the first 5 minutes, but those people will complain about literally anything.

You guys can't keep catering the game to those people. Its because of them we had 1/2 the server as the hounds within the first week of the last wipe.

Just look on the Forum, no one is posting here and look on all this grey names. you lost some of your best testers (rip hellmoi). back to the topic i think getting rid of worldmap and just replacing it with procedurally generated zones is doggshit wrong! why ?
well, maximum playercount will hardly ever reach 100 ever again, why ... becasue Fonline in general isnt that popular anymore like it was before and this server isnt something freshly made like back in 2014 ... this means that even the actual core with its size wont even ever be filled with people, npcs maybe but not real humans ...
antohhas opinion is a good one, just think about where you want to spent your time and think about what those 200 generic zones add to the game than just being generic zones ... thats the biggest flaw to me. i dont need no worldmap but i dont need no more 200 generic zones aswell, i know the plan is to introduce this factionwars on zones outside the core and that its planned for i dont know when 2050 maybe when season 4 kicks off but seriously, just removing worldmap and trying to do all this on 40 coremaps isnt already enough of a challenge ? no, ok then here we go with absolute garbage.
the point komrade was making should be taken serious aswell, worldmap gave u the ability to spawn at different entry points in a fast way, i dont see this work on your 200 generic zones stuff. you as devs play too much around, want to enhance to fast with just not enough people willing to help you... maybe you should think about why nobody wants to help you ... instead of focusing on enhancements, i know its just an hobby still you had some small community of loyal player which are humans, still u managed to probably dissapoint the majority of em, forced some of em to play fonline 2 the grinding nightmare it is and has nothing to do with aop.

in my opinion devteam should have keept their focus on enhancing the already existing world and then figuring out what game they want to make since AoP season 2 had so little in common with what people have seen in season1 one can just speculate what season 3 will be... but my guuess is prolly going the same routine. from something you could work with to something completely broken to something completely unplayable. i still have faith just no high hopes, since i cant rememebr when something was done right in this game ever , except the expanding core (and the robco dungeon plus that new tutorial) which could be argued as negative aswell from playercount aspect, this is not meant as a diss since i know you put some good work elsewhere, but that parts are only interesting for people coding ... i mean for the players this weather is just nothing that big of a deal same goes for procedurally zonegenerating ... the average dude doenst care about how its done technically ,to him its just more generic zones in the game and thats the only thing he sees. rest of problems werent even touched, no enhancing on quests, missions , PvE enhancing from seaosn 1 (which players asked alot for) or whatever else is comming to your mind... . just "memestuff" like we will see in the future. saddens m sometimes since i loved the game from season 1. also to that noob posting factionchat not working, nibba factionchat worked since start of season 1 and is one of a hella good feature. better than gib muh 10k guns dlc...
just take this as some good hearted critique.

why even 4 factions ? if pvp stays the same boring deathmatch as before you really dont need more than 2 faction in my opinion. with an different pvp system 4 faction would make sense, like the system was in the beginning with winning by overall score. but if its just deathmatch 2 is enough and all you need.

other than that more factions only make sense if there exist differences between the factions, like in old classic strategy games were you can choose from different races which grant you different bonuses and trade offs. thats the only scenario i can see something like 8 factions work.

Don't limit weapon types to spawn locations.  There is nothing dumber than "Going to the pistol locker."   and "going to the rifle locker"   Part of looting is not always knowing what you are going to get ^-^.

well its called immersion and hawk is right its stupid to imagine all these guns into that wallsafe lol, also counterquestion what do you get when you make same loot on every type of container ? = its boring, because everything is same, on top of that it doesnt reflect logical-reality/laws not even in a sci fi world...

i think i understand what you mean but its not good typed out, i agree that its no good idea to tie specific stuff just to one location but this doesnt go hand in hand for containers, there are just too much of them, and to find weapons in weaponcrates is just logical (ofc you can put some garbage tier stuff in garbage cans aswell and so on but dont make everything the same like it was in season 2 (season1 had way better distribution of items, because someone was thinking about it not like in season2 [dont wanna say any names, you know who you are]). ofcourse this doesnt count for special loot since that type of loot should have a special place which makes it automatically limited to a certain area etc.

well im not sure what type of game ashes of phoenix is nowadays anymore , anyway ...

if you want to keep it pvp orientated then you have to think about how you can give players longtime goals or simply motivation to play (pvp) , you dont need neccesarily pve for this ... you could tweak the skillsystem aswell or expand it with other points you get in other ways which unlock treeperks whatever ... there are alot of other games out which use different technics to keep player or players motivated to play.

i think sneak as skill in an game like fonline is retarded anyway since it seems like some leftover from singleplayer game were it made sense atleast, here on a similar graphical and engine level it doesnt make sense because you dont need to sneak past some npcs to solve a quest lol here it is just abused for player versus player non seeing factor combined with bullshit strong combinations of weapons and build.

if you want to keep sneaks in the game make them real cannonfodder or limit them just to sneak exclusive weapons which could be special on the one side like that soflam or airstrike pointer whatever (starcraft one with atomic bomb comes into my mind)  and on other side shit dmg guns which might have some crippling bonus or some other effect than just bleed or flames , into my mind comes this borderland weaponcategory which makes enemy resistances against other damage lower for some time, you could even introduce some low damage buffed super sledge kind of weapon to knockout a single target very long ( i dunno some shocking sneak weapon whatever, like some taser ) ideas endless ... but overall low damage in comparison to non sneak, for example i could imagine some sneaks getting behind enemy line and do no damage but cripple them or give some people statuseffects (this would require some coordination aswell and is not just clicking festival).
