As of yesterday, I made 2 characters and was able to play. I don't know what I did to fix it, maybe the game just decided not to hate me anymore!

It is very common mistake among new players who register on forum and then try to log in to game using this nick/password. You have to register character inside game client. Maybe that's the case here...

Me and my buddies tried that, one of them got in, but i was still stuck with the log in info being wrong.

It's probably the traffic of people coming in and out of the server, I'll try again later tonight.

I'm using the correct information. Everything is correct too, I'm authenticating and connecting to the servers, but wrong log in / password.
