Today it was officially confirmed (http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?topic=7297.0) that Reloaded would wipe next week. As it says in the post, it will not be the huge update that they are still preparing but it might be a good opportunity for some people, especially those who only ever played AoP, to check out another server without feeling like they had no chance at catching up with everyone in the middle of a season.
I personally will give it a go again for that good old 2238 feeling and I hope people wont feel guilty for playing another server.

You mean having to name your characters in Cyrillic to avoid being PK'ed constantly ( at least if you're a loner) and the godforsaken one-hexing mechanic that takes any fun out of a close range gunfight? If the changes to it are substantial enough I might boot it up.

well I dont know how you played 2238, but I belonged to the 10% of the server population who only played TC, never left the base unless there was a timer up and never needed to travel further south than reno. Didnt even meet any russians there since 2010.

Not many russians in reloaded, maybe in beginning of session but mid-late, hardly any one.

I miss being overwhelmed (AND out-leveled!) by Russians and having to comb through every northern town with my Unity/Rotator pals in the biggest FOnline swarm the world has ever seen while executing on sight every russian or cyrilic name.
I think I now know how the germans felt during Barbarossa. Felt like the SS while doing it.

I played with a small collective that was affiliated with S8 loosely. Ma's Clean Up Diner Boys. We didnt do TC or really anything productive other than killing every russian name we came across, mining, and killing our own members for betraying us. It was tough being a little guy in that game.

Playing FO: reloaded for the first time, it feels like FO 2 but with less features. ::)
I guess I get to learn the almost true hardcore shit shoveling (mining) experience from old FO so all is not loss. #timewasted #nolife

Yeah I don't see the interest either, and I don't see anything that screams "THESE ARE VERY NEW AND INTERESTING FEATURES, PLAY NOW", in fact FOnline2 has more interesting features by comparison (and their RT combat implementation is still immensely inferior to AOP's), and their TB is still pretty much the old Fallout combat (when they could've all levelled up and enhanced it).
But hey, more players, and its nearly-vintage 2238, so I will take a look at it.

Yeah.....thats fucking shameful.
2 people not shooting at each other because the other one will immediately move into 1 hex range. Gunfights are like fucking fencing in Reloaded.

Dunno but we had fun. We were screaming in TS n shit going, NO BEER NO, GO MELT KUUURWA. Not all 1 vs 1 fights are like this but usually the combatants try one hexing each other.
