Title: The worldmap
Post by: Fayfay on September 07, 2014, 07:00:38 AM
Is there any points of interest on the map who deserves exploration, like small towns, etc, or it is just empty wasteland?

Hey Fayfay, long time we didn't see you !

There are only severals locations like mines, or random locations created(instance) fror assignments you can take in your faction headquarters.

Gameplay focus is the city, it's different, but not totally un-fallout-ish, I think.
Still, quite the HUGE worldmap for that, maybe in the future it will be filled with some interesting remote locations...

I think there can be other areas, like smaller towns outside of the city, no city is just one big chunk, sometimes have smaller towns outside.

I think it would be cool if players could build cities, and other factions can raid them... Put money into defenses, I guess similar to the Wasteland Defense Mods for Three and New Vegas. Except building would be crafting related and what not. Cities would deepen the politics and enrich the world and also evolve it. But I dunno if this system would be implementable.

I think it could be implementable, but damn, imagine how much work devs'll have to do, you don't want them die from over-exhaustion do you? ;)
