You can give them to one of the npcs in the workbenchs area in exchange for recipes to make new weapons

Where you can gain experience and find useful things?

you can gain experience by doing assignments, and zone control depending on your personal score. Crafting also gives experience. Killing mobs too but there are diminishing returns on animals.

You can find useful things in assignments, in the city, in dungeons, and a lot of the starting crafting components are easily obtained in simple encounters. just go anywhere on the worldmap and click on your position.

You should also said doing this is extremely dangerous. (In my opinion, the start for a loner is really too hard).

Indeed, and as I said, the lack of tutorial doesn't help. We'll work on that.

It's not that hard, it's just like Dark Souls, you have to learn how to bullshit your way through the task in front of you (I don't talk harmful exploits here). Just learn how to aggro a single npc out of a pack and so on (<- is pretty fun actually) and a little hint: use LW, esp long-ranged ones, you'll feel like you are using sneak-throw build, npcs will just shout "where is he?!" And wither away the next second (m4 2 shots npcs on S rank missions, 3-4 shots on SSS, in the eye obv.)
