The teamspeak can be very useful for players in the same faction that want to work together or communicate instead of typing essays in-game.
Of course not everyone is gonna use it but for those who do it will be nice. Especially the players that are not in a major faction like BBS, Pistoleros, other factions coming from FO2.

I agree, this could be very cool. Just have to be careful no one from another faction is listening in on you and coming with a fireteam to hunt you down.
-
There are different things we've been considering. A public TS is one of them, but we're not sure it will be easy to handle on a daily basis. Otherwise, faction related subforums, but that's also still just being considered.
-
You can just always for example in-game, Type like this
If you say % as the first character when typing, it will become into a (Team) symbol or word. Meaning only your team can see that text eh?
-
There is already a faction chat. If you type /f or .s before the message, everybody in your faction will see it, wherever they are. There's an option to toggle on/off as well.

ok thats good but won't be good when they encounter other players and have to type during the fight.

sooo are we any closer to having a teamspeak?
-
We will first run the live server to see if we have enough resources to run a voiceserver on it as well.

"Spy has joined your channel."
Just have trusted people join a player faction's teamspeak/mumble/skype?
Question:
If an enemy spy follows your team around, can you shoot them?
Will player-factions shoot random people out of paranoia or language barriers?
If a large number of enemies "join" your NPC faction for trololols, do you have a faction civil war?
-
Get 10 of your buddies to shoot said spy once, this way you only have -30 rep or so per player.
Like a firing squad, noone is really guilty of killing the guy ( well maybe one)
-
Simply password everywhere, the first player formed squad putts up a password for the fraction, and you have a safe ts channel where later on any new formed suad gets their own sub channel, i think this way things could be menaged quite easily if there wont be a full mole squad.
