Title: Bleed damage
Post by: LIMBleech on January 20, 2015, 10:03:17 AM
Can someone explain in depth bleed damage, what does 'bleed damage 150' mean, does bleed resistance reduce the chance of bleed or the damage? Is it per second? How long does it last for? Is bleed damage based on the damage of the weapon, so more melee damage would increase the amount of damage when bleeding?? Etc

Patchnote has answered that already, please read those before asking questions.

-Bleed rate ticks are 1 + log10( 1 + (BLEED_RESISTANCE] / 10 )) seconds;.
-Bleed resist now reduces the RATE of the bleed effect.
-Bleed damage changed to be based on AMMO / Weapon.

Okay lastly, it says bleed damage is affected by weapon/ ammo, but seeing as your weapons damage increases directionally proportionally with melee damage would your melee damage affect bleed damage, meaning a perk like silent hill death could potentially increase bleed damage?
