I dont really know where to begin with this. I am ultra confused.
Ok so obvious changes to some mechanics (changes that I am not smart enough or knowledgeable enough to explain or even recognize in full)
Why am I doing more damage with a 9mm mauser than a deagle.50?
Small guns received a nerf? Because the big guns are doing just as much damage as before and with the added bleed its crazy.
Are small guns useless now? I know I am.
Allow me to paint a picture...1 combat shotgun, 1 deagle.50 and 1 Rad Smg, all firing at the same person who simply stood still and let us test. (He was wearing CAMKIII)
He should be dead in what? 4-6 shots? Try 15 shots just to get him into -hp

15:22:37 • You critically hit RadBoy for 10 hit points and knocking him down.
15:22:38 • You critically hit RadBoy in the eyes for 47 hit points and bypassing 69% of his armor.
15:22:38 • Rockman critically hit RadBoy in the head for 19 hit points and knocking him down.
(Lets not forget these are "critical hits")
RadBoy was able to fire at Komrade with a pks, twice putting him at around 15-30 hp and the bleed took care of the rest very quickly.
15:17:21 • RadBoy hit Komrade for 114 hit points.
15:17:22 • RadBoy hit Komrade for 94 hit points.
While RadBoy cleans all three of us away, were pumping him full of hot lead with very little effect.
If he wanted too, he could have easily dealt with all three of us.
Our damage output was so little I dare say he could have just stood there injecting stims and never died. If he was on 7 food items who knows, maybe we wouldn't have even been able to make his hp minus.
I know were still waiting for a change log but this scares me. Everyone gonna end up being a big gunner tank? Because as it stand (And I can only really speak for myself) I would be useless in a fight.
And thats ok "Make a new build" yeah fine fair enough. But what build? The same as everyone else?
I'm not looking forward to meeting tanks :/
Can anyone put my mind at ease? My greatest concern right now is everyone has to be X build with Y equipment or you suck.

well i guess we need detailed changelog heh ... imo Sg were fine as it was with deagle and other crit guns plus that SAW gun as bursting option , well after some testing many things seems like broken and not working like intended ...

+1 I thought small guns were fine as they were, didn't expect a change like this.
Part of what made this awesome was the amount of viable options available to us.
Now its BG BURSTER TANKS, W.E FTW?

from what I've seen SAW does more or less the same damage with added bleed. But yeah deagle doesn't do a lot.

I am not sure we should take at face value what happens today.
As Cirn0 said, it is a develloper's build, with weird things going on...
I will personnally hold on for a while, and will be back as soon as it is playable again.
And i suggest other players to do the same, if they don't want to spoil themselve the AOP experience.
Currently, even lower critters can tank and instant kill player above lvl24.
I doubt it is meant to be...

Can you guys give me a bit more feedback on this? How exactly are the NPCS tank killing?

ok some things i have seen , Psycho doesnt add DR or DT it gives string mssg failure in msg box , st buff and malus stuff did work indeed ...
tested 10mm smg well it was like it deals no dmg with 8 / 10 bursts with blue jhp ammo seems like strange bug
i also heard from other players that they think that weapon perks dont work ...
it seems like some scripts not working correctly huehue time to wipe bahahaha

I might get back for more testing another time.
Which i recall is that i was unable to kill a big scorpion with AK & Remington. (damage lower than 15)
That ghoul & super-mutants would instant-kill me and used suppressed fire. So i didn't have time to fight or run that much as my life was red in the first few secs.
I got ambushed by some npc when entering a zone.
I walked on a mine and took 6000 damages. I didn't do it with a "light step" character, but if it still 50% of damage, it would still mean instant death with 3000 damages, which would render the trait useless.
All of this with a lvl 36 character (lost a few level after the rollback). I doubt a lvl 1 character could survive any trip to the core, as it currently is.
Maybe we should make a big alliance with the four faction, to fight the npc swarm...

seems like everything related to DR and DT as perk or trait or whatever doesnt work , tested nerves of steel doesnt work when u are winded or supressed or whatever ...
PKS dont got spread also ...
throwing greandes while running also dont work ...

Very true, I'm gonna keep playing regardless. Its the only way we will know right?
Just means I have to learn some things again.
Haven't come across any of these tanky critters though, the bleed seemed to work well enough on the human NPCs I fought. They didn't seem to be doing anything spectacular or extra ordinary to me either.
I tested Deagle.50 9mm mauser and Deagle.45 all acted strange and from what I saw the other players guns were acting strange too...Thinking about it Family has mostly small gunners. :D

I didn't stay long, but my damage output was very low, so i assume their resistance is very high.

This makes me feel very sad. Only today I created my medic m1911 crippler and now find out he is almost completely foiled and flawed. I was focusing on base crits and low ap. I was thinking I could quickly spring out 4 aimed shots to cripple arms and legs and then body base crit 60% of the time but will he be too weak...?
Thought he was a peach of a character but now my ingenuity seems very ugly.

I structured it wrong, he focuses on base crits but when I first sight an enemy I will do 4 aimed shots. Then base crit his torso, does that clarify?

let me just say i'm glad i took the decision of making a "PKS Obsessed Maniac" build

i think game idea is pretty cool now still not balanced , but i guess this will come with time , now u really need to think what SPECIAL stats to use , not only investing 10 points to luck and intelligence ... Luck still does matter but shhhh

Use sterling smg :D More dmg output than turbo plasma.
