So now only the main faction enemy patrol will attack you on sight, how about making it same on all gates if your rep is negative with them ?

Reputation system currently is broken if you ask me. I would actually turn off the attacking of guards because of reputation at all. We are killing more lawyers than we are killing family, so family should love me? don't think so.

Are you saying to me that your family rep goes up if you shoot lawyers ?
This is what I meant
If you never shot other factions guards/or player in front of guards - you should be able to use their gate "freely" as your rep would be 0 or whatever.
If you did shoot them, your rep will go to negative and they'll attack you on sight.
And for a weird reason I have worse rep with two factions which aren't my main enemy.

Makes sense, once you reach a certain threshold of negative rep the guards of that faction become hostile.
But it would make alliances or any kind of friendly act hard for factions that have warred in the past.

In case of alliance I'm sure devs could just re-tweak it again. Friendly acts don't happen on people's gates ;)

That's what "top diplomat" is, and I was one not so long ago ;(
