It says -2 Critical Protection. Any idea what does it mean?

I assume it is the opposite of the Man of Steel perk buff, but I don't know where exactly it comes into the critical equation.

For that matter, I am similarly confused about the -2 to knockdown from small frame, as I was under the impression that Critical Agility protected from knockdowns.

I obviously need to do more reading.

AFAI understand that -2 to knockdown from small frame means that applying only to the possibility to be knockdown-ed (which Crit Agility defends from, but not only from it), you have -10%.
