Title: Max range - Eff range question

So on a DKS Sniper rifle there is 85max range.

I currently have 250% SG with about 10PE No weapon penaltys and I have something like 78 eff range.

What must a build have to get 85 max - 85 eff range ?

I luv that ;D, it's probably the problem.

Does that explain why an inproved flamer is 3 hexs from max range ?
Its like 8 max - 6 eff. so 10 PE and 14 PE will make this differnce?

The DKS has the Accurate, so that's +30 hit chance, with 250 skill you will have 95% hit chance at 81 hex with unaimed shots. PE has no impact on that.
With 10 PE a eye-aimed shot will have 95% at 75 hex, with sharpshooter 77.
With 5 PE a eye-aimed shot will have 95% at 69 hex, with sharpshooter 71.

The flamer even with 250 skill and 20PE (because PE will have no impact on the hit chance!) will have 95% at 7 hex.
