Not sure what caused it, but I am no longer able to change targeted shots by holding shift and selecting 1-7.
I know others are fully able to do this, so it must be something that I have done specifically to break it, though I have no idea what.

Updater rewrites shortcuts file. You need to back-up them before update.

Oh, :\ the title of that post says do not backup user edited files lol. I haven't edited any files, hmm, so what do I do now?

I am running the hotkeys config now and redoing hotkeys, thanks, I will make a backup in future.

This was my suggestion for developers.
If you didn't back-up hotkey.ini you will need to configure your shortcuts again via HotkeysConfig.exe

Probably you can do it with delete button top right of your first message. I'm not 100% sure.
