Hi, im looking for a good EW Build anyone can help me?
-
Nope, everyone is still noob as far as I am concerned, you will just have to make what looks good....
My 2 cents, you don't need more than 65 site range if you use laser rifle or solar scorcher, but keep in mind you can get perks like hawkeyes, EW is actually a better mid range fighter, so you will want some tankyness. And since you are single shot you will want to crit, so you will need at least 6+luck ( I have 8 on mine ).
only a couple of the EW weapons can burst, and they are pretty weak in my opinion, but then again I have never used a laser gatlin =D, so with EW it's all about the aimed shot most of the time.

I like mine pretty swell.
S - 4
P - 7
E - 10
C - 1
I - 6
A - 7 (With Small Frame)
L - 6
Small Frame and I have fast shot, but its not necessary because your max chance to hit is 90%.
My secondary skills are first aid and I have Traps, but sneak might have been better. Use your own judgement.
Medicinae Doctor, Toughness, Weapon Handling and Silent Hill Death are totally necessary perks. Any other perk besides these are kind of optional, but make sure the ones you choose will help.
I solo PK'd 3 Brahmin Boys with this build, and killed many squads of 2 of V-techs. It's pretty efficient.
-
imo investing points in strength is better than Weapon Handling, you get resists(and weight :D)
-
aye, weapon handling is over rated...

Use weapon handling with it.
Do aimed shots.
Enjoy.
Rest of the perks per your personal judgment, you'll see what your char needs when you feel how it works in game.

essentially you could swap some PE for STR and get hawkeyes,
you calculate the tradeoff....

PE - a lot of modifiers
Hawk Eyes - only range
STR - a lot of modifiers
Weapon Handling - for weapon drop
If you're going with close range build, yeah rather STR.
But most EW weapons are great for aimed "snipe" shots, so I would rather go with PE always. To be honest I still didn't test EW machine guns so duno how burster would do with more STR and less PE.

Small Frame+Weapon Handling? Now that's the fastest way to kiss the floor in a fight. They must add to the scoring screen something like "metal face" or "dust eater", with the "most knockouts" numbers.

With the amount of KD's from aimed shots I don't think anything can save you in this game.
Also, point of sniping is to kill a guy before he comes close enough to mess you up.
Also, with high PE and LK he'll be one KD-ing people all the time.
Yeah bit messy when trying to run, but thats a trade off of a ranged eye killer.
Also, that's my subjective opinion/experience and its been treating me good. Like devs said, you can't go wrong with any build in this game, but your char depends a lot on the way you play.
EDIT : Also, you can counter the small frame with metal armor (one gives -2 to KD rolls, other +2)
There are various things to complement the weak special (perks or items) so its just a matter of how will you play)

Is a high luck with aimed shots essential for a EW build?
-
High luck is more for anti-crit than actual offense. INT gives you more I believe.

INT gives you only crit chance. Luck gives also crit power. I doubt INT is better than luck for aim shoter.
-
Since pvp revolves around crippling shots idk, besides you need all them SP.
-
LK is for aimed crit shots, INT is for crit shots in general.
If you gonna aim body parts LK is a way to go.
-
Oh yeah?
Sadly enough it does, even though it's not stated in the description.
Poke around stats by yourself! ;)
-
Well damn.
Wiki would lead me to believe otherwise...I mean I do pretty great with aimed shots with LK, but now you gave me something to think about. LK probably affects crit strength then cause shots I do from time to time wouldn't make sense.
*Goes to add gain int to perks list* heh

LK is still better IMO just because it gives you CR, INT doesn't give you any defensive options.
