Just started playing, and Im wondering.. How I do I get a room to stash my stuff? Already died a few times with all my loot on me, wont make that mistake a 3rd time.

Bump. In Vault-Tec, was told rooms are given from 'greeter' in a room next to the lift. None of the dudes in rooms near the lift, on any floor,s are offering me a room.

try second floor door to your characters left next to the lift if you are vtech

Actually, don't worry about it. This game is far to rage inducing for my tastes. Been PK'd every time I leave the base.
Not really into being farmed by high level players. Just not my thing.

Which faction do you belong to, if V-tec come tag along with us. In any case stop doing solo runs and stay away from the Core in the early levels UNLESS you go naked scavenging runs or in big groups maybe ( even that is not %100 safe ). Try to find some other people to do assignments with etc. do some crafting with the junk you scavenged.. it gets better with some patience ;)

2nd Floor
--> door to your left, greeter as said upper, will ask you to clean your room, a "rat situation"
--> kill rat, room's all yours :)
