I SUGGEST FUCKEN LOWERING THE DAMAGE, INCREASING FIRE RATE MODE (make it slower), BUT STILL LET IT COST MASSIVE BLEED AND CHANCE TO CRIPPLE

Well, you have to get within one hex. I haven't used it recently but it's always been insanely powerful. If you can dodge enough bullets to get close, good on you. Most of the time when I see melee I either shoot for the legs or just spam away at the torso.

Most of the battles happening are close quarters. When someone takes voodoo + ripper, they're basically unstoppable. It's too strong when someone hits you for 70+, profuse bleed, and chance to cripple your arm (which seems like always). Even if you tried to defend yourself from ripper, once he cripples your leg or arm you're dead, its just stupid how strong it is.

Agree with stalker. Haven't played in a while but ripper was always the bane of my pvp experience. (That, and swarms...and hellmoi) The crip factor was just salt on the wound...the severe wound the ripper just caused to my arms!
This is how i remember it...running along, turn a corner "Oh nay its hellpie" Fire a shot, Get a crippled arm, try to run...die because hellshy drank some nasty voodoo.
Or running along, run into a building. "oh way its helltoy next to teh door" crip arm, die a quick and bloody death.

For now its weapon of choice for melee. But I don't see it influencing meta too much or being abused. So leave it for now. Bring some heavy machine guns and ripper won't even get close.

It's the only weapon of choice because its too powerful. Look at the PKS, once before it was dealing 130+ damage per burst. Now since it was nerfed, its never used. Other melee weapons are fine like Super cattle prod for example, deals 130+ damage on overload for 50 AP but cost 20 SEC while ripper does that damage + bleed and chance to cripple in just 2-3 hits for just 2 SEC and 30-40 Action points
Also no point taking machine guns when 1/3 of the enemy team are sneaker snipers that will just cripple you (which IMO should get nerfed to shit) , or outnumber by 5+ guys

Because running from it is all someone can do when they fight someone with ripper. If they try to stay fighting he'll cripple your arm or leg and you're dead. (as I said before)
Other melee weapons you actually have a chance to fight against cause they push you back or they have to regain AP or reload.
A good nerf IMO would be making the fire rate mode higher (make it swing slower) and making each attack cost 5-10 small cells WITH high reload AP, with also removing deep wounds and putting slaughter shot

Are V-tecs that stupid? Oh it's just Niamak. I already stated why I'm complaining. Other melee weapons were able to compete with guns beginning of the session but I don't know if they got nerfed or just people stopped using them. I can understand why people don't take super cattle prod cause that damn thing breaks too fast. Also you have to reload after 1 overload hit cause it cost 20 SEC and has 30 SEC capacity, or else you'll only do like 50 damage to combat armor.

I did bad job with ripper, also RNG gods hated me by only giving me criticals with no cripples. And lol, what snipers? we only had like 2 out of the whole team.

I'm shocked the bitch commented. Most of the time I threw smoke and rushed at you which resulted in overwhelming odds running away from me (and tenova :D), pathetic. Only time you managed to kill me is when I was alone in v-tec gate and I meet entire V-tec team :'(
but if you guys against it, I don't mind. I'll just keep rocking the ripper. ;D

So this is ok it seems. By third hit he was already profuse bleed and right leg crippled :D

I totally agree. Most fun battles are trying to stop smoke ripper rush. Instead of crying, think of a tactic against.

That's just me and vulture spamming smoke grenades. Other melee weapons were ok but were nerfed due to them being too strong. By stop, you mean just sit in a corner with minigun and ctrl burst through smoke, so much fun ::)
Sadly, as always, enemies always outnumber lawyers :'(

I've seen Lawyers beat Vtec through overwhelming odds, so what's your excuse for being trashed mercilessly yesterday when we had maximum of three more players. Surely you experienced few can beat a few Vtec degenerates. But maybe it's as Courier6 says, you guys all want to play seperately instead of as a team. Maybe you guys simply can't play without New Order or Hellmoi to carry you.
Ripper is OP in small groups if allowed to run rampant, but I could still lock you down with a SS 1v1. You ain't speshul using stun grenades and Ripper, try something that requires a little more thought.
As for sitting in corners with a minigun, I'm not gonna appologize for using an apparantly successful way of negating a smoke ripper rush. Also Lawyers are masters of sitting in one space for 30+ minutes, camping rooms. It's not even difficult and you know it. Queen Matthew coming to the defense of STALKER of all people. How amusing. A few weeks ago you were ready to kick STALKER and Courier6 from Lawyers entirely. Maybe you need them now I don't know. Or maybe do dfon't have the power to do such things.
During Lawyers reign with Hellmoi and VVish leading, Vtec couldn't get a look in victorywise. Now they are gone, we beat you guys 9 times out of 10. Either you Matthew, can't lead your team properly or the rest of the ego's in your squad don't repesct you because you are too soft.
It's true what they say, cut the head off the beast and the body will die.
As for DSR builds, it's simple strategy, I never use my character Andy unless I need to - so stop with that ridiculkous excuse of an argument. I play with and for my team, I bring whatever the team needs. STALKER and most Lawyers play for themselves and bring whatever build with get THEM the most kills.

Looks like Laws dont have any commanders at all, last time if i remember well, they blamed someone for commanding without voip, hilarious, no doubt that will affect the team in a bad way, just imagine.
