A short story. Family boy meets a Vtec.
« on: September 09, 2014, 10:12:56 PM »

So there I was looting the core, just got out of the family gates and what do I see? Vtec scum standing there with that clean jumpsuit on, right on our doorstep. I readied my weapon but before I could fire she scarpered, I gave chase, "shes not getting away from me" I thought.
I took aim again, but damn she made it to the exit grid.

Upon arriving in the next block of buildings I saw a her, scared, unarmed and under attack by the largest of Brahmin Bullies with a crowbar, swinging wildly towards the Vtec. This is my chance!

But I was compelled by an unknown force I opened fire on the vicious Brahmin Baddy, which by this time had managed to knock the Vtec scoundrel to the dirt.

BOOM, my bullet fly's true hitting the hulking brute and knocking him back.
BOOM, The second shot knocked him off his feet. The rest was too easy.

The monster was dead, and here I stand with all the power. But...
I holstered my weapon and retrieved a stimpak from my robes
I walked over to the girl lying motionless on the floor, I thought for a second,
"is this a good idea" I made sure no one was looking and then...

Upon injecting her with the medicine she jumped to her feet just as quick as she fell. This time she didn't run, standing still motionless she said one word.
"Peace" I handed her some robes and replied with one word, "Run".

Thanks for sharing this! I've witnessed other people not shooting each other while they were not from the same faction. There is hope for more!

That was actually quite pleasant to read ^^. Keep those up, even if you'll have to come up with some lies ;P.

I honestly do not know what is wrong with the factions I think each faction should stick to either farming/looting/camping at their own enemie's areas im sure the lawyers are also tired of us camping at their own gat but really our only enemy is the bbs so let us fight them and let them fight us while the family and the lawyers duke it out on their own without any faction interference

I wouldn't have a problem with letting occasional enemies go either, but unfortunately it seems the other factions are quickly developing anti-BBoy sentiments. So I am forced to shoot.

Today I've met some hth french v-tec who was just looking for a way how to farm xp! Hey v-tecs care some more about your own? Why a BBoy has to tell him where and how to do your quests? ;)

Every time I cross someone's way, I'm a dead target, except when I managed to escape. :(

Three vtecs once shot me to pieces, then first-aided me and let me go. One of them was called "America" or something like that.

Sometimes I used to leave a few bluesuits undisturbed, althrough I don't do that when I'm deathsquadding or jihading. People should know better than to expect peace from a squad of heavily-armed people.
