-Welcome to the Wasteland Poker Club-Hey guys, as my name would imply I'm a huge fan of poker, part of my day-to-day involves running/dealing/promoting poker games. As such the love of poker carries over to the post-apocalyptic setting Fallout has set us in.
IF there is enough interest, I can and will setup a poker game for members of the Lawyer faction. There will be an initial cap buyin, and we will play a No-Limit Hold'em Tournament using the PokerStars Home Game client.
I'd first like to see if there is sufficient interest in this to get it off the ground, I already have the club setup and ready to go, we just need players willing to put their caps where their cards are!
Show your interest and we'll be gambling in no time!
**Unfortunately this is only for Lawyers, for obvious reasons.**
How it works:--------------1) All players need to download and install the poker client:
http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/download/Then follow the the instructions below to register to the poker club:
2) You are invited to join my private poker club for Home Games online.
- If you don't already have it, download the free PokerStars software from
www.pokerstars.com - Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab
- Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button
- Enter my Club ID number: 751903
- Enter my Invitation Code: vault dweller
That's it! Once I've approved your membership request, we'll be ready to start playing Wasteland Poker online together.
3)
The poker club will have multiple HEADSUP (1v1) tables available for ANYONE to hop on a table and start challenging players. However, for full ring games, I WILL HAVE TO BE ONLINE AND COLLECTING THE ENTRANCE FEES FOR THE TOURNAMENT.
Upside: Only SCHEDULED high stakes games will take place, with myself holding onto the bank to ensure the winner(s) get payed out properly.
Downside: Only headsup games can be done without my being online.
----------------------
I hope this interests a lot of poker players to come out of hiding and start wagering those stockpiles of caps. Even if you don't play poker, maybe you'll find a wastelander who is a competent competitor and you could "stake" him in a game. There are plenty of rich folks out there who may want to put their money on your poker skill!
