Hello wastelanders !

We want to add some great screenshots of the game in the main website gallery.
To make it fun we start this contest : Take the best picture of AoP you can during your adventure and send it !

Information :

• 1 screenshot per member
• Screenshots must be added to this topic before sunday 12 at midnight

The dev team will vote for the three best screenshots and the winners will receive ingame rewards (surprise!).

As this is for official game promotion we will not select any screenshot showing exploit as it is not representative of the game.

Wiki creation / Information : wiki table

Some information for the wiki contributors.

A lot of pages use two aligned tables ( example ).
As we are mixing some html/boostrap sutff with the wiki syntax it's not always easy to understand so there is a little explanation :

* First table & Second table are normal table using wiki syntax

So what does it means ?

• <div class="row">: We create a new row to align the two table. Things to know a row has a width of 12
•    <div class="col-sm-6">: We create a column with a width of 6
•    </div>: We close the column
•    <div class="col-sm-6">: We create the second column with a width of 6
•    </div>: We close the second column
• </div>: We close the row

The "sm" in "col-sm-6" means : "Use this rule for small resolution and bigger. For extra small resolution use full width"
This is not very convinient but improve the responsivness of the wiki.

Feel free to ask here for help with design issue.

General Discussions / PK - What to do ?

Hello all,

Some player like to play as PK ( I mean killing other player of the same faction ). What can we do ?

Right now Lawyer take the Police Departement. I go there with my gear ( armor tier 2 - DSK sniper and shotgun ). I enter Police and go to the building with the military boxes. I check if their are empty ( their were no ennemy in the zc ). Some lawyer enter the place and kill me - took all my loot - to revive me again after. He give excuses : "Russian loot me all loot everyone".  I know this is always the same lawyer and he already kill other lawyer (and already try to attack me when I was scavenging outside any zc ) and I heard complaining about him.

What can we do ? Will we let a shity player destroy the game experience of numberous players ?
I do not want to start shooting others Lawyers ; this will totally break the game. We are supposed to team up against other faction not to kill ourself !

So I ask. Is the game simply broken or is there anything to do ? Anyone ? Any idea ?

Reputation system does not work on this : We all have so much reputation that it is not a big deal to loose 10K rep.
With the new system that block bluesuit on ZC I do not see any good reason to continue killing other faction's member so why is the punition not a lot more stronger ? I does not seems logical that someone killing a lawyer can go back to the hq, enter the hearth & base (where only trusted member can go ) and nobody in the base react. Killing faction member should be equals to : no more access to hearth & base and jail time.

If we catch a platoon obviously cheating, we'll send all its members to jail too. To summarize: please, behave. I think killing member of own faction is "misbehaving in-game" and then player should go to jail and lost all possessions ( you know.. Faction will not keep a room for a prisonner )

Wiki creation / Beginner Guide

Hello contributors !

I'm currently creating a beginner guide. This guide target the player that never play other Fonline game ( or neither Fallout 1 & 2 ) and is a step by step. I already did the first pages ( installation, character creation, interface is in wip ) and I will continue soon.

I'm looking for someone able to correct / improve my writing as english is not first language. It will maybe be one of the first document new player will read (let's hope ;o) so I do not want it to be in shity english.

So please response to this post and I will link you first pages. Once it will be done I will add a Beginner guide link on the wiki home page.

Wiki creation / Where to start ?

Hello all,

I think the wiki are use by two kind of people : The people knowing already a bit of the game and coming for more information on a specific topic ( like what is the best weapons, effect of drugs, etc... )and the new players asking "What should I do first when I start the game ?"

There is no "beginner guide" tutorial explaining the basics of fonline-aop. What you can do - How you can do it.
Maybe it will be great to think of it. I will create some pages to speak about the Lawyer HQ ( where are people, quests, merchand, etc.. ).

Could be great if people from other faction could do some "beginner guide" for their faction. When we will have the 4 guide we will create one for tutorial / faction's selection and we will have something good to start I think.

Bar des Terres Désolées / Les Francophone dans les factions

Bonjour à tous,

Cela pourrait être sympa de savoir dans quelles factions jouent les joueurs francophones. Cela permettrait a des nouveaux joueurs de nous trouver plus facilement et donc d'aider à faire grandir la communauté autour du jeu ce qui nous garantit des heures de plaisir dans le jeu ;o

Donc, je propose que chacun donne sa faction. J'éditerai ce post plus tard pour grouper les gens par faction.
Essayez d'indiquer le pseudo de votre perso histoire de pouvoir le retrouver facilement.
