I think this game is almost perfect in terms of potential and fun. It's doing everything the other fonlines should have done. Except; it has LOST one thing. What it has lost is - atmosphere. The feeling in the other fonlines when anyone could betray you and you could die at any moment, you had no friends and all items were scarce. It was gnarly. There was stealing, arguments, aggression, bullying, pking, betraying. This was all more powerful in a game like fonline requiem or 2238. Now I have thought of a way to FIX this.

Bounty hunters.

Now, hear me out. this will fit perfectly, the factions are very cool. But if someone becomes redundant and works alone, if someone is factionless - then there will be a different option for them. Bounty hunters can not trade in factions, only with players. Different factions will place bountys on players based on their rep and caps proportionality. When a bounty hunter kills a player a finger will appear in their inventory (this will not appear on non - 'bountied' players and only appears for bounty hunters as other people in the world of fonline wouldnt instinctively think it was necessary to cut off a finger for survival) they will gain rep with the faction and some caps. The bounty hunters must STRIVE to keep a balance between all factions and kill only when they HAVE to, for business.

Furthermore; other players may place bounties on eachothers heads and set an amount they will pay. Understand that the players decide if they want to pay them or not, they may set a bounty hunter up also. Players can only do this with considerably high rep but they may also put a bounty on their faction members heads without any loss of reputation. Evil right. Bounty hunters should not be able to have a home, and should have a container in the sewers or somewhere dangerous.

Camouflage would be a great tool for a bounty hunter for obvious reasons.

Now you may be thinking 'It seems too dangerous and difficult' but here is the cool part - a tracking system will be in place, the player(s) that the bounty hunter is tracking, leaves a trace on the map of their LAST location, so when a player leaves a location e.g Warmart and enters any one of the 4 surrounding locations, an indication will be visible on the bounty hunters map. This makes it viable but not easy to find someone, the bounty hunter must use guessing, triangulation or even just shadowing their preys path. The bounty hunter is also told if the player is online or not somehow (haven't thought of how) as to not waste his time on an empty bounty.

It should be common etiquette to pay the bounty hunter in full in caps but other trades will depend on his/her particular payment plan, also should be etiquette for the bounty hunter to give the person who put up the bounty all of the loot that he/she received from the body including the finger or at least some of it.

The bounty hunter may also keep the finger as a treasure or get payed off and turn on the person who set the bounty as their location will be given by the same method, as an insurance upon refusal to pay or in the coincidental position they DO infact get payed off.

Is it placed automatically? How information about it distributed? If you know that you have bounty on you, you just let your friend kill you.

Same about tracking system. Ability to know where is player. Doesn't sound abusable for you? Intel is 90% of the win in ZC.

When a bounty has been accepted by a bounty hunter it can not be accepted by other bounty hunters. And the bounty hunter does not know where they are he knows where theyve been, it will not affect ZC as it is only on one player. Bounty hunters dont take part in ZC. Or may even take a zone on their own.

Although it would have been cool if multiple bounty hunters went for the same prey.


If a family member has -200,000 rep with lawyers. the lawyers npc's will have a bounty on that player for 2000 caps; in retrieval of his finger.
