RIP AoP

Isn't a transparent roof unrealistic?
Nope, I am against this change.
Well done for the overall work though, its really great and appreciated.
-
It is fully opaque by default. I know it will certainly help me when I'm recording.
-
I do not like it unfortunately. It is unrealistic and removes some of the immersion in the game.
I can see why it has been introduced - to encourage pvp (dissuade camping) - but I personally think when the wipe is done, whenever, this option should be removed.
It really changes the game for me in a big way.
-
Removed an ability to drug tables... That sounds so good out of the context.

It has nothing to do with PvP, at least not in the sense you're describing it. The point is that the roof is already easily made transparent by just replacing the artfiles of the client and it does give you a noticable advantage. I'm also highly against wall and roof replacers, but there's nothing we can do to prevent at this point so it's more about levelling the playing field.

I'm afraid we can do anything. Really. Everything.
-
yes of course. But not at this point. We dont have anything at this moment to prevent it so there we go
-
If only fallout had SV_Pure
-
Isn't it possible to put the walls/roof server side instead of client side ?
-
I think its OK as is. Much thanks for the noroofs. People can play without walls whatever they want. I don't mind. It's so fucking ugly, with minimal gain. I prefer an immersive game world to a 0.5% edge in PVP. As do most I suppose.
