Good idea!
I have one more suggestion about it. We can convert perks from all nades to traits (not for spears). Explosion time and accuracy will depend on throwing skill, also grenadier perk will be available for char with 175 throwing skill. Throwing range will depend only on strenght. Then all soldiers would use nades but with random effectiveness caused by unstable explosion time and accuracy. For team safety and more effectivenes they have to pick Have ho or spent skill points.

Now this is just over complicating things, making people choose heave ho because they don't want to invest into throw skill. Converting perks into traits? No! If this were to happen, then what bonuses does someone get for investing into throw and using grenades? And then accuracy on throw skill?? So what, everyone can throw a grenade 3 hex away from them because nobody wants to invest in throw skill? I don't like the idea on range depending on STR, like what, I gotta be 10 STR + Buffout to throw a grenade it's max range? Meh

It's fine as it is IMO, wanna use grenades or concussions? Invest into throw skill, it's a freaking 2ndary skill on a server with no level cap. Better to add a trait to Smokes, Incindiearys, Stuns and Mustard gas so everyone can use. Which is literally what I mostly looted from dead V-Tecs back when server had PvP.

Heavy ho should just give grenades 10 more eff. range for anyone. Even out of the max range because it's a player investing a character perk into it, and there weren't many grenadiers in the server. If you even add it.

AND THESE NEW PERKS, WHOSE EVEN THINKING OF THEM!??

Well it isn't clear because nobody has ever listed requirements of what's needed for the perk, or what exactly the perk does. And I don't see these "8 perk groups" now you're just confusing me.

But if you're gonna do this 3 category thing, more isn't needed IMO.

take out finesse? it seems useless to me. who wants to do 30 less damage? ...I love this idea. it is a perfectly legit simplification, especially since players will not be spending time on lvls 1-24, right?

Since finesse is doing something carefully, instead of making targets recieve more DR, something better would be like adds 300-400 ms more aim time but your critical chance increases by 10%, something like this. And if you have simian warfare, you still have to wait that extra step.

Heave-ho is designed for people who cant work throwing skill into their build yet want to be able to use grenades for more than just smoking yourself. It's not supposed to make dedicated grenadiers even better.

But grenades without perks = don't bother taking. Of course only smoke and inc. is viable since it has none.

One of them didn't even work, I believe it was sharpshooter. As for hawkeyes, perhaps make it appeal instead of just sight range, maybe 5 more eff. range?

but if it's just 1 point, then it's not worth it. This is where perks need to be changed IMO. To what? That's up for discussion.

Those are other people, not me, I could careless if there is or isn't one hexing.

One hexing is pretty much a common feature in other FOnlines and people expect it to be in everyone.

And yes, I do blame it for one of the reasons why AoP doesn't appeal to other players. Sorry to poop on your parade Teela :(

i do not agree with the +2-3 special, cause too powerfull then you have action boy and the criticals related perks who become useless.

+1 for the fast reload, it's too weak curently, even for the big guns users.

Some perks are indeed more op that others, some could use some testing...

RUDE, I took educated on all my builds, helped me achieved 250% Weapon, 200% 2ndary and 180% 3rd.

As for the SPECIAL bonus, keep in mind that this guy is choosing a perk out of others he can choose. I'd rather take +2 EN instead of that critical endurance perk, etc.

Good thing that you guys are reworking perks. Things were a bit boring with all the staple perks one should take for any build. This is sure to shake things up a bit. While you´re at it also include a couple more post lvl 24 convenience perks. The ones we have are good but once you´re past lvl 80 or sth things get a bit boring. Like:

After years in the wasteland without a proper shower your smell would make a polecat throw up. As a result, ghouls will regard you as one of their own and will not be hostile.

Why would you want to add one hexing in AoP? If there should be one hexing, SMGs should only be able to do it.

And what's wrong with the way it is now? You're pretty much doing just moving perks from 12 & 15 to higher levels and vice versa for the perks at higher levels.

You should probably change perks instead of changing the system. Like Gain SPECIAL point perk to 2 or 3, fast reload to 25%, Do or die, etc.

And you added sneak perks?  :o  Jesus no wonder nobody plays.

As for new perks, stonewall should have been ingame by now, I believe I told john to do something about it when server had PVP. Also you're adding too many perks to the game, this more of a quantity and no quality. And some sound OP like that Bleed god blessing while most are just absurd.

Well basically now we have attachment concept pretty close to what you stated here: a lot of attachments with some minor bonuses each.
In future we might deepen system with more effect/specialization for them, but to start with we are going to use very similar system.

   Most of You play other Fonline because there is more posibility like quests or crafting stuff with bonuses (shitty mods).
   Yeah this game were made most for pvp, okay but this is reason why servers are almost empty, there is nothing what could hold players longer before gather enough people for pvp, everybody from us just check server status and have disgust (no ofence).

Actually no, we play other FOnlines because there is PvP there, at least I do, and I can say the same for around 30-40 players that PVP. Also majority of the FOnline community are PvE players, that's what keeps the population of a server high.

Look at reloaded for example, during prime time, there's 100 players, 20-40 of them are PvPing while rest are noobies, dual logs, people PvEing, etc.

As for AoP not thriving, there are multiple things that makes AOP not appeal to the FOnline community which I'll list a few

  • Being forced to join one of the already made factions, 4 was a lot and now adding 2 more was just  :-\
  • Lack of quest
  • Lack of dungeons
  • No one hexing (surprisingly lots of people expect this but it won't fit in with AoP so they just leave)
  • Lack of player to dev communication - What are you gonna tell me, IRC? Jesus you can barely get any information from Cirn0 or John. And they're doing their own thing without listening to the players. I can gurantee if AoP were to rollback to Late session 1, we'll be having the same PvP as we did before.
  • Sneaks are bullshit :^)
  • Season 2 was a complete mess since launch
  • Too many constant changes happening without players being informed

Now what would make AoP great, hell I can list so many things

  • make sneakers to fucken scout ffs like every damn FOnline player's dream
  • Get rid of these factions, allow players to make their own, keep around 2-3 for loners or roleplayers. Remember most players join gangs and go around like that but when you remove that from the playerbase, nobody gonna play that shit. what you gonna tell me platoons? You're still part of that faction without standing out or anything special.
  • Map DLC, Weapon variety, Armor variety, all great except too many weapons in the current server. Majority are useless
  • DO NOT MAKE CORE CENTER OF THE SERVER - Add guarded towns, encounters, patrols, dungeons around the core. HOWEVER make most quest lead players into the core, if I remember correctly there are certain areas that can be locked from players unless they have something active. Search and retreive quest, clear out area quest, dungeon runs in core for quality loot, stuff like that.
  • Personal Tents, bases, Cirn0 had that thing on top right when on world map which a player can choose, not sure what he's doing now.

   Everybody can have own style of game thats why "the more the better" but saying then improving gameplay is shitty, is impairments and ffs yes! People will gather longer by that but who play now!?.

No it's not. Just look at the plague of useless weapons there are now. Maybe having variety that deliver the same output but when it's too many, it's just terrible. That's why I said if they were to add such attachments, keep it minimal like Rainbow Six siege or Stalker series.

And when you say "own style of the game" that's already determined by the type of build and weapons you use. There's no need to add that extra step with attachments, like what, I want to make sniper but while using shotgun? Doesn't fit in well.

   Forward Grip make weapon less recoil so I made that solution, about Heavy Barrel we can speculate. Of course we allways can find other attachment for eff range or simply make more bonuses from one attch but about unaimed shots, there are perks and traits for our character, armour, weapon and leader modules, so this could be a little to much. More I've like to see something which add "less spread" or otherwise: "reduce spread".

It's a pixel over the top game, it doesn't have to match real life. Hell make a silencer give less spread, make a heavy barrel more eff. range, a grip less AP, etc.

Not a bad idea, but buffs are a little...meh. Should be something like Forward grip gives 2+ Efficiency range, heavy barrel makes unaimed shots cost less AP, stuff like that. I do like how laser sight will make you shoot faster, seems ok.

I believe Cirn0 was working on grenade launcher attachment for the game already. If I remember correctly it was suppose to be a different mode for a weapon or something. Except don't add too many attachments, keep it like Rainbow six siege with only a few 3-4 for each 4 categories but each of them make an impact on the gun.

I am up to grenade launcher, but I must say no to customization of weapons. It is just silly idea, we need to make game simplier with another tool we can fuck up balance even more. What will be next weapons skins?

But cirn0 needs money for McDonalds, he's gotta add microtransactions to the game.

Well, I'm not uploading daily benis like I used to so I can confirm :-[

And devs not really saying anything on what they're working on. Honestly I'd rather have it back to late session 1, back when everything was more balanced and not a mess. A few tweaks can be done to reach near perfection if it were.

But now sneaks are fucked, no swarmbenis countermeasure, lots of useless unbalanced weapons, s1man a dev, too many factions, etc.

I miss my nigga Anza, then pewpew saying "fuck" when he gets hit for like 200, and getting swarmed by V-Tec cunts and me and kurwier TKing each other in our benis.
