I still think it takes longer to run to the center of the core from these corner gates, maybe if they were a little smaller to compensate?

even if you are hound or boreal you can still enter from old gates if you feel that they are closer so i dont think that its problem

You can choose to spawn closer to the next map you intend to go. (btw the new spawn system is quite awesome. You know exactly where you end up)
