Ok, I know that PvE skills can only be increased by using them.

Engineering usually be crafting and repairing.

Science usually by reducing an item to component parts and in some cases crafting items.

Persuasion by doing various transactions with NPC vendors.

How does one "use" the Outdoorsman skill?

I have traveled just about everywhere. I have entered countless zones. I have met King Arthur and the Mysterious Stranger a number of times. Not a single increase in Outdoorsman. Am I missing something obvious or is this a PvE skill that currently cannot be increased?

Sorry if this is covered somewhere else, but my search-fu really sucks.

I am curious about some of the scoring I see, in the Hall of Fame/Shame and with the ZC messages.

Some of them are fairly obvious like bottle caps or kills., but others seem a bit arcane to me.

I know that the zone control scores cannot be kill counts when you consider that a lot of them are 10 to 20 times the entire server population. Is that score damage dealt?

How does one score "Carebear" in the Hall of Fame. For the life of me I cannot think of a single metric on that one.

"Scientist" is another one. It can't be their skill, is this items disassembled?

Basically, I am curious about most of the scores as they don't appear to have a 1 to 1 relationship to anything I am familiar with.

Would it be possible to get an explanation for the scores?
