Suggestions / Re: ZC small suggestion
« on: May 06, 2015, 05:00:59 PM »
Hmm how about something like for each person of an opposing faction that enters the less points towards capping the other team gains? For example...

6 Tecs are capping Robco gaining 6 points per tick. A Lawyer enters, nothing changes except they are now gaining 5 points instead of 6. Any more entering characters of an opposing faction have the same effect.

Idk if this would work in any way shape or form, i just thought I'd throw a suggestion out there.

reroll doesn't work with gifted and bruiser
Just put one point less in the affected skills, works just fine.

Also, lifegiver is not registering correctly. I have the exact same skills now as before the update and I'm not regaining the 20 health boost of lifegiver. Carryweight is working fine now, though support skills are still default.

Sweet, only one problem for me... what about my science/engineering/persuasion skills? They're all at default. And I didn't know endurance gave such a drastic health boost, lost over 30 health after lowering it by 1! xD Bad decision on my part. Oh well.

Also really low carry weight now. Is that intentional?

Update: cirn0 got mad at me for summoning sugarman over and over again. He made me bleed a lot and kept me on the ground, it was awesome. I guess I was lagging the server with my antics.

Three times is the key?
Good to know.
Also did anyone find the other parts of the holodisk shown in my thread?

http://fonline-aop.net/forum/index.php?topic=965.0

I haven't but I'll be sure to tell you if I do. Yeah, it's three times to summon him and an instant death, (with sometimes a random respawn at 1 hp if you're in base) but it seems to be random on the amount of times you need to summon him in order to be taken to his lair. The first time I hadn't done it too much and it was quite by accident, which was why I thought I had been jailed. The second time I blatantly tried to do it, and it took maybe 20-30 tries, more or less. I've tried again, though haven't been able to replicate it any more. It seems that you just need to get lucky. I'm curious as to if you can go farther in the lair or not, all the cells have invisible blocks blocking the doorways and the only way out is to summon him again, three times. I'm gonna keep investigating this, we'll see what I can find.

Good Guy and I went back for more. This is what we found.

The lair is a dungeon filled with gore and candles, I was placed in a cell with a bathtub full of blood.

It started with this eerie notice in red on the chatbox...

"They say I have shed innocent blood. But what is blood for, if not for shedding? You're mine now, and I will split you from your groin to your gullet."

Followed by

"It is time for another miracle. You must live, so that you may die once more"

There was no way out of the cell, so I attempted to summon him once again. Every time I tried, this notice popped up...

"Believe in me"

This happened three times before I was teleported out of his lair, safe and sound. We must uncover Sugarman's secrets.

Let me tell you friends, about the lair of Sugarman. You all may know the story of Sugarman, the stalking creature of the dark that is said to provide an untimely death to any that utters his name three times. This may seem like a mere children's story, but it's quite true. Upon playing with this multiple times in the V-Tech lobby, I accidentally made the guards attack Sugarman a few times. One of these times, I tried to help and Sugarman murdered me. I lagged out of the game and when I logged back in, I found myself in a dungeon. I was in a locked cell, the entire dungeon was covered in gore, and there was even a bathtub full of blood. I was immediately alarmed - had I been jailed for screwing around too much with Sugarman? The door was locked, there was no way out. I proceeded to ~help and ask to talk to a GM about being jailed, and after being summoned out I was told that I had been summoned to Sugarman's lair, a random chance. It was then I realized that I had been date-raped by Sugarman.

Currently, I am attempting to be summoned again. Wish me luck, and maybe I shall find fortune with the love of Sugarman.

Game Tips & Guides / Critical Chance
« on: September 09, 2014, 04:56:27 AM »
Alright, so I'm running a character build and I'm at 10 int and 10 luck, giving me a 50% base critical chance. I'm more of a spammer, and aiming isn't my goal for the most part. I was looking at my stats and noticed that I had a crit resistance of 46%, and according to the info that's -46% off of someone's critical hits. Does that mean I'd have a 4% chance to crit someone with the same stats, or am I missing something here?

General Discussions / Any V-tech Bros wanna start a Squad?
« on: September 06, 2014, 02:48:32 AM »
As most probably know by now, this game is evil. Pure and outright evil. But in an awesome way. I'm getting annihilated alone, as I'm sure a lot of other people are. Would anyone out there like to create a squad to face off against the evil hordes of ants, dogs, and other evil beasts of the wastes?

General Discussions / What Kind of Character will you be Playing?
« on: September 04, 2014, 10:38:16 PM »
With the release of the game only a day away, what kind of characters do you all plan on playing? I know it's too soon to know much about what you'll like and what you won't, but as of now what would you like to play? I really love how it's not all min-maxing now, and how there will be much more diversity in character builds on this server. As of now I'm thinking about sub-machine guns, possibly with critical hits included. But what is it that all of you would like to play as?

I'm torn between The Family and V-Technologists, though I'm leaning more towards the latter. We'll see when the server's open, maybe I'll change my mind altogether.
