I am unable to provide a screenshot, sorry, my laptop doesn't have a print screen function.
Its a simple error is text, it says that it costs 2 blueprints to unlock a new machinegun and 1 to unlock a heavy weapon.  The reverse is true.  Heavy weapons cost 2 and machineguns cost one.   I hope it doesn't change as it make more sense to me, hope it was just an error in code/text.

does having 100%+ aimed crit chance have any advantage? what kind of character benefits this? 30% DR is a huge con

While I can't tell you much about the first 2, I have used finesse in AoP.  the advantage I found is that you can reliably cause critical effects, but not so much damage. So even though you may not kill them in 4-5 shots, every single one of those shots could have gone like this: 

1)Right leg Crippled &  knocked down/winded 
2/3)right/left arms crippled and weapon drops
4)groin shot knocking them down
5)and eye shot blinding them

They still might not be dead, but hell if they can really shoot back effectively at this point.
The + 30% DR is a serious con when it comes to using finesse on a solo character.  If you want to take finesse it's really more for rolling with other people and being a great support sniper. Good luck taking on more than 1 or 2 enemies to begin with.  I was also using EW, which seemed more effective in my mind for finesse (due to the tie-in with the INT stat and engineering.)

It's really up to you, but its only for getting reliable crit effects. Nothing more.

I recently joined the family because of the low player count,  and I've seen more V-Tec in a day or 2 than my entire time in BB. V-Tec is just picking on the little guy, so it's not surprising that Lawyers and BB see you guys as easy targets.

Looks like you play alone. This server is not loner friendly. Enroll in a squad, call your buddies to play the game with, cooperate with you faction. You can do assignments every 10 minutes and scavenge/pvp in between. Also the 30k rep assignments boost your xp quicker.

Yeah I mostly do. I guess I'll try it with group assignments. But it still sounds like group version of grinding to me.

It is just group grinding.  I see assignment hobos doing that alllllllll day long with groups of people.  Its kinda fun, but I would rather scav alone.

I try not to shoot on sight, I really do, but people make it hard to trust that you wont be ganked instantly.  One time I helped out some Lawyers in Warmart and killed some Family members with them.  We came to the mutual conclusion that we wouldn't kill each other if we saw each other again.  Saw them again a day or 2 later, said "hey" and got bursted in the face.   Isn't the only time things like this have happened, so that's pretty much why I ALWAYS shoot enemy faction members if they're armed.


This game jades all of its players that's why peace can never happen.


Also people like *cough* Adrenaline & Zxcz *cough* dont help.

Now, I'm not knocking on the damage of the AK-47, it does rather well for what it is.  The only thing I find funny is that it does less than 5.45 rifles, even less than some pistols.
While it should never be as powerful as 5.45 at range, 7.62x39 shot from an AK47 has the marked tendency to tumble in flight, reducing the stopping power at range, but in close quarters its devastating. AK47s should do more to unarmored targets at close range then they do, by a fair bit, while reducing power at range.   What do you all think about the Kalishnakov?

As my personal opinion BB are dominating, and it will continue, there's no fun to lay under peace with you, guys. I don't have anything against peaceful loners / small groups, but your forces have huge well-organized aggressive bands. And they are pretty bully (:

Most of those well armed and organized bands are in response to something that happened, usually.  If BBs are getting killed by other factions, someone starts to organize bands to start marauding their gate.  Could just be we all look out for each other more?

That was hairy, several of us were right at the exit grid when they showed up.  The entire noob mob got split up and freaked out, it was quite a sight.

Maybe you should try making peace with your neighbors first?  Nobody told us to stop shooting;  Only thing i head was shots back. I've helped out a few lawyers, and you guys aren't bad people.  BBs real enemy is the family so far as I've noticed.

I don't know what faction you're speaking from, but V-Tecs ARE the neighbors to lawyers.

And we're supposed to ask the faction camping our gate to hold fire? What the fuck?

Im a BB, an we are ALSO your neighbor.   As far as I know, the lawyer and BB skirmishes didnt start until a few groups of players started PKing each other.  Im not going to name names, but I've really only seen belligerence towards our respective factions with a small number of players.

i think maybe you're interpreting it wrong.  These people may be good ol fashioned American stubbornness, but they have put aside their differences, dumb or smart, uneducated or genius, to basically "fight the man"  and promote everyone being an individual within a community.

BB may not have a ton of experienced players, but I was witness to 2-3 separates hordes of noobs capturing several zones yesterday morning.   Vtec came on after all of it went down, they didnt even have to fight for 2 of the zones.   Vtec is just cowards.

You're right, they should quit their jobs and come play videogames instead.
You are aware of timezones, right?
When euros are in full force and mid-battle, most U.S. people are just getting home for work/college, and getting ready to play.

I am aware of timezones, but that would mean almost everyone in vtec is European (and has jobs, which COULD BE))  The day I was referencing was Sunday, which, for most people, means getting ready for Monday and having the day off.  BB was raiding around 10am to ~ 1pm PST.   Thats a good window for resistance.  It could be pure coincidence, but it seems to me they were just waiting. I have a  job and I go to college, it's not unfathomable to have an hour or 2 to play.

Has anyone heard or seen anything about one of these?  Is a character planner being developed by anyone?  (or are groups just gong to make formulas and hoard build stats to themselves?)



Edit:  Also, if anyone could clear this up for me,  What does

Skill bonuses: SG (1/6), BG (3/6), EW (1/6), Unarmed (3/6), Melee (1/6), Throwing (2/6)   

translate to in English?  I dont understand the format.  Is it every point in that attribute adds X amount to said skill?

Our group has 4-6 people, and we'll be joining BB most likely;  Could change. A little wary of the fact that BB is getting a huge influx of Eastern European players.
We may have to switch to Lawyers at some point, but for now were going with BB.

If russian gangs are going to join Brahminboys, we (The Rogues) are going V-tech or Lawyers - depends where will be less people.

I really hope the faction choosing doesn't become a race or country of origin thing.   Seriously.  Thats scary.

I'll me and my mates will definitely be joining BB mostly likely, or Lawyers.  Were all American, so hopefully the racism barrier isn't as bad as 2238.

I remember I actually had to name my character something in Cyrillic to avoid being KOSed.  And say "Privet ))))))))))))))))"   every time I saw a Russian.
