No offense, but you seem to confound one hex-tag with real PvP....There trully is nothing uglier than watching a ''PvP video'' and see everyone dancing around trying to one hex one another, never firing a shot otherwise.

People who try to 'balance' the server with their half-arsed faction hopping are the bane of the server.

Well actually, you dont need to change factions......you just need chars in a few factions. If i see there is 21 online, i log in church and see we are 17....il go play in a diferent faction. It's really the only way to avoid swarming and to balance the teams to ensure everyone can play. I think everyone can agree that a 11vs10 is much more fun than a 17vs4.

Sneaks are included in all that.But for the very first days there was not that many sneaks, because you needed a faction to buy stealthboys, and everyone was busy leveling.We lost a lot of people during the first days, then we lost even more when Ninjitsu Masters became a thing.

Well to be fair, i think everyone is to blame generally speaking: Dev's let some bugs in and stuff that broke economy/game balance; but it's players that took advantage of it all. It's also mostly the player attitude of swarming that messed things up; At first everyone was joining hounds, it quickly got the biggest faction, after that people were joining hounds ''because they like to win''.....whenever a faction gets the biggest swarm the others join it because they feel safe with the numbers.

Some of the players remaining usually try their best to balance the teams, cause they know there will be no pvp 17vs4. If the whole server had the attitude of always doing that instead of increasing the swarm, things would be a whole lot more lively in the core.

Right but mechanics-wise, how many hexes large/long do the cars ocupy?how does turning works? what speed does it travel to? can you just run-over players with your hummer? Can you fire from the windows while inside and be totally immune from ennemy fire until car itself gets destroyed (like in Tactics)?

Seems to be a lot of stuff to work out, and probably the reason original fallout devs abbandoned the idea.

Also some gates would be much harder to navigate trough....that forest in fam gates and all the junk and narrow alleys in Church gates for example.
all of these should be directly ripped from fot
and no one gives fuck what other gates have cars should wreck the trees

Okay, but as i mentioned we are NOT running on the tactics engine, so it's not possible to simply copy paste everything from there. And cars didnt wreck trees in tactics....you could ram a bush with your tank and you'd just got *Bang* Stoped.

Not if balances, cars couldnt drive into houses and would be easily killed by explosive and traps/fire weapons...

Well, because we arent running on the Tactics engine, i doubt it would be possible to have actual moving cars. I think what pancake suggests is to have cars ''teleport you'' to ZC zones. I.E. zc in hospital? teleport straight there avoiding all other maps/bypassing ambushes. I personally dont think that would work for the better....

Green shells with same armors and 108 damage rolled.....:
5*(21.6-(21*0.2)*0.615=53.505*0.75=40.12875
4*(21.6-(21*0.2)*0.615=42.804*0.75=32.103
3*(21.6-(21*0.2)*0.615=32.103*0.75=24.07725

So only if all the shells hit, i can achieve damage similar to slug shells? And there is no bleed either/less knockback.

Seems weird shotguns have such high base damage and low range but cant seem to do more than 40 damages on a perfect hit.

As for red shells: good that's what it's suposed to do against a metal mk3 +/- nothing. But instead of having such high DT-, would'nt it be better to have a bit less and slightly better DR- maybe? Almost all armors have 50% DR at least, so that would ensure good penetration on low DT armors, and little to no penetration on CA and metal mk3.

@John: how was i being smug? lol. You all seem to think that coming on your forum to express one's opinion  is ''being smug'' or ''shitposting''. I was expressing my opinion, nothing more. I wasnt holding a glass of chardonnay and smoking a 500$ cigar as i was writing this either.... ;)

Buckshot has less armour piercing ability than almost any other ammo. Compare damage to bluesuit/CAmk3/MAmk3 and you will see how much damage is lost due to armor.

With -60DT it's pretty much one of the MOST armor piercing rounds lol. -5DR is pretty basic, yet still better than slug shells....(they had 0/0 DT/DR last i checked...correct me if im wrong) If anything, slug shells should be the ones with penetration, since it's a single projectile.
Birdshot/Buckshot is to hunt birds and small game like deers....Slug Shells were made to hunt elephants and rhinos....

Red shells:
- changed DT mod from -80 to -60;
- changed DR mod from +10 to -5;
- added 1 more More Spread trait to total of 4xMore Spread.

In what universe are shotgun pellets made to go trough metal-platings? And what's the use of green shells if the red shells have pretty much the same effect with + knockback + bleed +damage?

Man....simple maths are hard for you or what? 200....+20next to a wall+20 1-4 of wall +20 if you stand still......thats 260 right? or 250 if it's capped at such.  And that still dont take into account the free -6 to detection range. 240 -6 hexes if you walk next to a wall or stand still 4 hexes from a wall.

Do i really need to reroll or make a new char? Nope, i played plenty. and sneakers in CA keep poping in my reach all the time. Also let me help you out Ramon: 200+20+20+20= 260 wich is already better than 250. then you add -6 to min detection range.....and i THINK it's better than 250 still......

@Wire: This is exactly the perfect example of what a mature forum moderator would never do: Side with the trash-talkers/trolls. If you have no usefull info to provide, and if you just want to try to boost your ego like all the other trolls, please abstain yourself from posting.

@Ramon You still havent explained how the sneakboys change were a nerf, Im waiting on your masterfull wisdom on the matter still!

Oh and avoiding the -25% per EQUIPED bg is rather easy....just dont equip it.....sneak to position...hide behind a tree, equip gun. Wow.....it works! Surprise, snipers that watched this field for 5 mins: im within range!

Hmm i supose you are the sneak master? you know everything and anything about sneaking? So then you tell me: with 200 sneak, a stealthboy, a CAmk3 and one BG equiped, at what distance does a 10PE char sees you?

Oh, and you told me before that the stealthboy changes were a nerf.....il need more explanations on that. Since in my book:200+20+20 -6 hexes to min detection range +another 20 for standing still seems like it's a whole lot better than 250.

Try to equip a minigun loaded with ammo and walk around in sneak

I play the game, i just dont play sneakers because i strongly disagree about what a sneaker should be allowed to do. If you talk about the weight of the gun: One of the recent-ish updates stated the weight does not factor in cells consumption anymore. If you want, replace minigun with ''any machine guns'' you can still walk right up to range of anyone before they can see you.
