Too dark for fast reading in battle.
And when i rejoined on my second character, which is member of BB faction, Mayck had brown nick, but my was still light-blue.
-
We might change that color a bit. Anyway, you got NC for your own colors.
Light blue is just a personal name color. It's gonna be removed soon.
-
I thought, that personal nick is more light in compare with nicks of people from his faction. Light-blue for V-tech, light-brown for BB and etc.
I thought this is good idea.

That could work, but it might be confusing since family is orange and BB is brown. Light brown is very similar to orange, so it might look like you're in family when you're BB then.
We will make it in the future so that you can select your own colours for each faction (and yourself), and when you don't, these will just be the default ones.

So confusing that you just swapped them xD
Family is brown, BB is orange.

Oh shit, I've been using the wrong ones all along. Thought for sure BB were brown. The namecolourizing was using this as well. Oh well, should be fixed for the next update.
-
May be give any other color for Family ? Green ? Or slightly red ?
-
We only have combat armours (critters with all animations etc) in so many different colours. Green would be a little confusing, since that's the default colour of a regular combat armour, and also the colour used for most things in the pipboy (so the faction colour wouldn't stick out).

+1

Seems some more readable color could help indeed.
-
Next update you will be able to specify your own colours for all the factions, using the NameColorizer.txt. All factions have two colours, one bright and one darker. The bright one is used for some cases in the pipboy (colorizing the automap).
-
Good, but not all players will do it. Some will use default.
-
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I kinda like the default. We'll probably have a more advanced in-game menu to change the colours on the fly, but for now, I think it's enough that the option exists for those who want to change it.
