Linux Client is ther?
-
I'm not sure because i didn't tested our clients on Linux, but all FOnline game i tested in the past worked fine with actual .exe client, just use wine or Play On Linux for windows emulation.

The linux client doesn't work at the moment, you can execute the game client with Wine

Hi all ! Posting here 'cause I have some problems with launching the game on Linux Mint.
I tried to configure Wine 1.7 multiple ways but no one seems to work, when I launch FOnline.exe a window pops-up and immediately closes.
I installed PlayOnLinux but I don't really now how to make everything work, I'm not very comfortable with Linux GUI (I'm a bit familiar with Debian based terminal and commands though).
I tried alternative .exe and it still doesn't work.
So my question would be, what does FOnline needs to work on Linux and how do I install it ? I mean everything Windows have for launching apps, like DirectX, .NET, ... Thank you for your help !

For the alternative cleint, yes it requires DirectX i think. I didn't tried AoP on linux on my own, but everytime i used other clients form others servers, just using PlyaOnLinux + directX worked fine. I'm not sure .Net framework is still required for fonline engine.
Also, maybe take a look, an user is using wine on MacOS and it seems to work too :)
I'll made test in the week if i can and will give you a tutorial if possible... if not, everyone is welcome to help for our gnu/linux and macOs gamers.
