Its realy strange. Shotguns was nice weapon before wipe. Now its shitty weapon with no range and poor damage. 14mm pistol was nice weapon before wipe.
Thunder 5 is an exact copy of the 14mm. I literally copypasted its proto and changed the item picture.

Shotguns were hilariously OP a couple months before the wipe. The only reason noone really complained that much is that everyone who was playing knew how to play with and against it, with 350+ bleed res bleed convert tanks that could actually cope with a weapon that deals 500 in one AP bar.

Do you tell about pancor? Then yes, it was OP, but there wsa Remmy. Maybe it was wrong about shotguns, sry. And i saw thunder 5 just once in market, didnt use it.
But what about 100% perfect weapons jamms? Maybe it will blow in my hands next time?)

The base chances for all weapons to misfire/jam are:

UP

Above 75% Condition: 1% chance to jam

50-75% Condition: 5% chance to jam

25-50% condition: 10% chance to jam, 1% chance to misfire.

1-25% Condition: 10% chance to jam, 5% chance to misfire

Well what about ammo stats then, John? 14mm had nice -DR -DT mods, none of them are applied to .45-70 Govt. Are you going to change that anytime soon?

BTW these rounds should have at least better penetration than any other snubnose handgun ammunition. Hell it's not a pistol round after all!

shotguns op before wipe is LOL just LOL, only thing that was op was singleshot criticals with old table and slugs with an pancor (caws), burst mod was always fine damage, ap  and firerate rangewise... dunno why there was need to fix it maybe becasue armors arent the same on last tier than before but hell who knows what you guys have in mind. while you are on nerfing short range combat you should fix all other 400ms stuff, especially automag , yk pistol etc... delete this fucking spas shotgun also or increase its ap usage... well i think its useless posting here anyway, since it seems that you guys have no concept in general. atleast thats my impression, no offence tho.

Ah, that's what we waited for! SKILL on RELOADED, oh man! AoP is not reloaded and your skills there are irrelevant. Your criticism is inconstructive and aggressive in nature as you demand from developers something they never promised to any player. The server is constant development, devteam dropped in tons of new things and features and they struggle to address pressing matters such as game and balance breaking bugs. The stability and comfort you ask for could be achieved only through hard work and extensive testing which you yourself call to stop. Dozens of people asked so long for the wipe and active players constantly try to keep devs informed about major bugs and balance issues, and you just want to discard all that work and progress because the current state of game does not comfort you personally. Your logics and motives are seriously flawed.

i can understand you gimper, its really a shame u guys never seen aop in its primetime... atm its really hollow. it wasnt even that hollow before ... we can just hope and pray that devs will get their shit together and make this game once great again PvE and PvP wise. without any fucked up start , i mean literary they got all data they need from last season, it was a 2 year testing run which lead to a good meta, they literary abandoned it by themself for whatever reason. maybe the pressure was too big ... getting rid of other things doesnt mean something new always, in the baddest case u end up like aop, which has less to offer than before and im not joking anybody who does truly knows old aop does know what im talking about ...  many changes straight backsteps and other changes arent changes they justs straight cut out features without any replacement. i know what im talking about :)

but i dont curse because im out on bail

I did though! I played on the initial release, and within a month, it was down to ~30 players a day. Seems to be the same thing happening now.

Developers, I don't mean to offend you and I really do appreciate the work you put into this. But can't you see that you are running this shit into the ground? You are TOO focused on preexisting content, and this has caused you to lack in more exciting content. Give us the damn missions back so we have something to do when we are bored. Take away the "~ZC" Option! That's way to carebear! Now there is ever LESS PvP than before. I came to this server because it is a PvP focused server, but now it seems like its not anymore.

well aop prime for me was around 2015 dunno if u played there, the meta was very nice and i thought it could only get better but some timeevents did proove me wrong :)

Most probably so he can roll snek and prey on scavenging bluesuits.

~zc was done to prevent that. Currently its also being used in 'normal' PVP to stealthily flank enemies (people used stealthboys for that last season, snek not contesting a zone was implemented to prevent 1 snek from trolling a zc).

I say remove ~zc and have ZC trigger whenever there is 3 or more people of a given faction in a zone. A bottom limit used to be the case for ZC, but was removed to allow for small scale ZC during a time where AOP had 15 people online.

There was fun everytime when online was more than 20.) People who left from AOP love pve battles, days of farm to have normal stuff for pvp, make 100500 alts for various weapons/tactics, accumulate tons of top loot for using it vs newbies and `homeless` (as they call it), abuse shitty onehex system. AOP is best server just with several problems which, i hope, will be fixed.

A good question would be why we started from step 1 again. A year of maybe low activity balancing gone completely to waste only for the new release to have as many problems if not more. Yes most players who stay here are pvp players only and it shows, even now when we have 50-60 online we have 3 sided 10+ per each side battles.

Activity outside the core was removed for a good reason the ~zc is nice way to protect scavengers but as teela stated need to be tweaked so we dont have teams of players roaming without triggering zc.

All in all its sad that we started from step 1 or maybe even step 0, yes there is a lot of way for improvement and its a very long way from being on the same level as aop pre wipe balanced. All the players who were here before can agree that it was more balanced before and we only lacked a higher amount of players.

Now we had so many features in this season and most of them didnt work as intended, or didnt work at all and thats a shame cause most of them sounded nice. Also remember no grinding is a feature not a mistake ;)

Well said.
As for the features, the only one major bad decision was to introduce 2 new factions to the already low populated server. If anything 2 factions should've been removed tbh.
