Please continue the attachment discussion here, the topic already started to generate some nice butthurt that got cockblocked ;)

I personally believe that they take more time than what is needed from the game, maybe add them as mass produced variants from craft menu. That is after the game gets rolled back and fixed from the current "gets worse by the update" edition.

Suggestions / Swarm control mechanic

Maybe a new way to bring more color to the map and keep both small scale pvp and large swarmfests in the core.

The core maps will be categorized in 2 ways : 1.factions home zones and 2. central neutral zones. The 2nd part will keep the same zc mechanic that already works in the core right now free for all and nothing changes.

Now about the faction home zones. They will be obviously the 3 closer zones to HQ and will have a different way of zc mechanic than the rest. When the home faction wants to claim them, the moment that they will start the timer a swarm blocker will be enabled that will only allow the same number of enemies to enter that zone. The minimum needs to be set to at least 3 of course otherwise it will be exploitable.

Example : Family wants to cap polymer lab, so they send 4 players to cap that zone, the enemy that wants to attack them will need to send maximum 4 players to contest it, the others will be blocked from entering unless someone dies for good (until replication). That will keep the pvp fair at least for the core zones of the faction. Now if Family wants to capture a core zone of another faction for example vault enterprises, vtechs will be able to send as many players as they want to defend it.

I think that way we can have some different ways to zc and have different modes of pvp too. It will make factions with few members (brahminboys) able to do pvp without being swarmed all the time and will still keep the old zc system in the central maps of the core. It will also add more colors to the map and add the fun part of making 3 man strike teams able to pvp. Also it will add more action to more zones at the same time, for example a 8 man team splits in 2 groups and cap 2 zones at the same time so there will be a need of splitting and making 2 teams for the attackers too.

The hive is gathering, swarming is imminent ......

Technical Center / Problem connecting

Not sure if its just me but it's kinda difficult to connect with the server, and when I do connect I have huge lag problems.

Yesterday I had lag spikes too and today they started again after more players came online so maybe some problem with the server ? I tried another game and it all worked fine my ping was constantly low there, while here it jumped almost every 4 seconds to thousands. 

Edit I tried reinstalling the client and all and can't update now, updater just get stuck. Also cant connect at all now.

Suggestions / Upgrading faction armor

Would be nice and realistic I think, you cant craft the base faction armor but why not be able to upgrade it to MK 2 version ? After all must be same process like MK 2 to MK 3 and no one will be able to make them from scratch so no faction changed crafter mass producing it for his new faction.

Maybe add something to surprise your would be looter.
Not strong enough to kill of course unless he is low on hp, something like timed dynamite maybe that get activated when you die. Would be fun  :D

Suggestions / Mines mission

I think that the mission protecting NPCs need to be expanded a little.
While fending of rat waves when you are low level and have a noob team might be fun later it gets boring or useless when you level even a little.

Now maybe adding some more difficult mission like fending of aliens (wanamingos) or Deathclaws will make it more interesting and fun. Of course the pay need to change according I think, or maybe even give different scripts for more advanced ammo that most high levels use.
Because I remember having fun defending NPCs and it's kinda sad for this feature to be left unused.
