I know there's probably not anybody playing and its an old game, whatever. BUT I still want to play this game. I have been playing for some time now but I am still lost. I have a bunch of stuff and dont know what to do with them. I know a few things, but everything is still vague. I tried looking for guides but those are a bit vague too. What should I do?

List of stuff of done.
-Found junk, components, dynamite, alloys, etc.
-Found some old guns and armour
-I think one of the NCPS is glichted(Second Floor)? Was supposed to give this person alloy but fucked up the speech, now wont enter conversation.
-Found Map, Leader Module, Who do I give the Map to?

 Any more mini quest to gain xp? Barely lvl 3 and dying to shite. Please help.

There are players still playing and people you can ask concrete questions.
You can try IRC channel #AshesOfPhoenix on irc.forestnet.org, depending on your time zone you will probably find several people able to help out.

This game is not balanced to be played alone. Your best move is to join player teams, mostly 2 teams in v-tec and lawyers are active now. They will be able to share a hand leveling and equipment, as well as wil try to teach you want they know. Expecting you to join pvp on their side later.
If you want to try out with v-tec, it'd be cool if you're able to join our mumble, even if you have no microphone, I'd prefer speaking over texting. Although if you can catch others, like player TWAT, he'll be probably helping you out whatever way you prefer.

Anyway, one of the best ways to start lvling are assignments, you can scavenge/kill in core during assignments timeouts.

You didn't stated which faction you're playing now, so it's hard to answer about the map. In whole the map is an item which can be exchanged for crafting blueprint.

Oh, wait 1 more thing you can do: leave your character logged in. It'll give free exp over time.

Yes, you will need someone to explain things to you directly because there is a lot going on when you first start playing.

1. leave your puter on and your twat logged in.
2. join for pvp regardless of gear and level. Friends will give you gear.
3. you can reroll later to whatever build you prefer.

Hello and welcome to Phoenix. Where the going is tough, but we're tougher!

What faction are you currently involved with? I suggest joining V-tec or lawyers as they are the most frequently active.

Both have few players. however i'm sure they are willing to teach you what you need to know, and have some fun with. You can communicate with online faction players by the command /f followed by your text.

Maps (among other things) are "relics" they can be exchanged for "blueprints" which will allow you to craft new gear at a work bench (Work bench and relic collector can be found at HQ second floor crafting room)
You will need your junk, components, hides etc to do this.

Old guns and armor are nice to keep a hold of for later use. If it is of no use to you, you can always "science" it and break it down for a little exp boost and some extra crafting bits.

Leader modules can be used like any other item. it will then be loaded to you pip cheap-boy. You can activate these to give your squad small buffs to various things. (this is dependent on charisma, unless your running with a set squad i would suggest not worrying about this too much just now. Ask your squad leader to explain a little more, when you find one )

Ugh...I have to quote it again.

• I rarely/never throw insults at my own team, just ask them
• I will give him all the gear in the world cause everyone has tons of it

V-Tec can only win by numbers. It's been proven and a fact now that when they are equal numbers with the enemy, they'll die easily. Also Caboose even admitted himself that he uses the newbies as meathshields. Oh yah, when V-Tec loses a fight, they will come back with 2-3 more people and tier 3s and if they lose that fight, they just ragequit till the next day

Anyways I suggest joining lawyers. We have people like Stem Sunders, Tenova, Vaultboy and Count Matthew willing to show you how Ashes of Phoenix is. I can show you too if you want :V but would rather just give gear and let you find out yourself (like I did, makes it more fun).

Not hard to see how stalker is running from combat first at many of my videos. And never coming back. Not hard to find on his forum profile claiming, that he's done it because thinks that his teams are noobs.

In the same time, not hard to see what he's done nothing useful for the community.

Wiki is something we do in our spare time. Right now lots of changes happened so I prefer to wait for wipe when everything changes.

here it goes, TC, dont join lawyers, try to find some old HQ schematics at the forum, there was at least 1 of really great guides for each of faction bases, from the players, look for the stuff at the core, exchange relics for recipes and craft yourself something good, then go and find some enemies to fight, stalker in example.
