I maintained a roughly 90~ ping while I tested this again.
I'm using my old character but tried turning on/off autoaim anyways, and the problem still persists.

I've never had issues with EW before, and still compared with the combat shotgun the plasma pistol shoots disgustingly slow despite supposedly the two sharing the same listed fire speed.

Thank you for the helpful replies, and I'm sorry have found no solution to what seems to be only my issue.

hello friend scabs. mayhap you were of using aim shot with energy weapons as shotgun have no aimshot so is not affect. delay in shooting may be attributed to aim time of aimshot. please try shotgun/energy attack in weapon range with make sure you are not in aim body part mode. tell us what you think thanks!
I was only using unaimed shots.

AP+ was also buffed so its possible if you're an AP+ build you're able to sustain the AP usage to fire the guns.
I'm 1 AG + Bruiser.

I guess it's time to give up on EW and reroll in the meantime.
I mean, please, try playing EW now yourself - it is competitively unplayable, and you will struggle in PvE.

Can the devs please playtest massive changes like this in the future?
And be decent enough to include them in the changelogs; stealth nerfing this significant is absolutely disgusting and damages trust in the community.

I just recently came back to AoP, and have been browsing the changelogs for what I've missed.

So far I've caught up with most of the changes, but as an EW enthusiast, EW seem significantly different - significantly slower.

I've play tested this in those new shooting ranges using a plasma pistol, magneto laser pistol, and a combat shotgun.

With the combat shotgun, my full AP bar is emptied within 5~6 shots, in roughly 6 seconds.
I click, I shoot with decent speed.

The magneto laser pistol takes me approximately 18 seconds to empty my AP bar.
A very noticeable delay is present.

With the plasma pistol no matter how fast I click I struggle to empty my AP bar, the plasma pistol shoots so slow that my natural AP regeneration almost out paces it taking me approximately 28 seconds to empty my AP bar.
I click, and I click, and my character just aims at the enemy as if it's a sniper rifle, and finally shoots.

Is this a nerf, or a bug?
And will it get rolled back or fixed either way?

It's called "Scroll Lock" sadly AoP doesn't have this feature

 in FOnline Reloaded it locks on your character, dunno why AoP doesn't have it
I know what it was in Reloaded/2238, just would like the feature to be present here as well.

the game will bug when walking the screen off the map
Hopefully there would be a work around for that, worked well in previous FOnline iterations.

Yes, the Mozambique Shooty perk works with slugs(white), but rightly does not work with shot shells(green/red).

I know the Wiki is not updated, but it's all I have to go on so pardon my ignorance.



What is the difference between burst and full auto?

The Wiki states: "Bursts, explosives and flamers are unable to cause critical hits. They might still cause special effects, however, but these are treated separately from the criticals."

Does this apply only to bursting, or both bursting and full auto?

Does this imply that criticals are converted into special affects(such as Suppression or Knockdown/out), or does it have absolutely no effect in the weapon?

He doesn't sell support CA, and he doesn't sell SEC or MFC.

I thought it had some kind of instruction. Okay, so, when you type ~reroll, follow it with the SPECIAL you want in the order it is spelled.

example:
~reroll 5 5 5 5 5 5
then type ~reroll confirm

It has limits on how many you can put of course (for legit-sake) and if you have traits that alter your SPECIAL, enter it in without them.
So basically if you have small frame, put your agi 1 lower than you want it to be and it will come out how you want it.

This worked out fine, but now I would still like to be able to use the "~deleteself command" for the alternative character I was attempting to reroll on.

you can reroll without deleting.

~give me the chocolate
lets you reroll tagged skills, and traits.
~reroll
lets you reroll your special, perks, and skill points.

I tried "~give me the chocolate", and that seemed to have worked.

However "~reroll" does not seem to prompt any message or dialogue, and now all my SPECIAL is at 1.

Four-eyes characters don't have a scoped one-handed weapon as far as I've seen.

The command "~deleteself <password>" returns the message:

"This command has been banned."

Please either fix this, or delete my character "scabs" that I may reroll.

So just now began this game with a friend.
We met some players who helped us at first.
Then just got immediately teamkilled.
I've played other FOnlines before, so I can understand the every-man-for-himself mindset, but I just hoped for better.
Maybe we joined the wrong faction or something.
Anyways, thanks to those who helped us out at first, I did appreciate that.
I'm just too tired, and getting too old for this sort of thing.

since we have factions, we're automatically allied with other players who've chosen the same faction, from what I've read.
how prolific is teamkilling?
do factions only exist in name only, and most just disregard the faction system's penalties?
what are the penalties faced if you teamkill?
the wiki just says "you loose more points", but doesn't state how many or if it's a significant amount
