It's hard though, if you plan on going best take someone experienced with you. And listen to him :)

Id love to do it for the sake of experience, mostly. Those dungeons really sound exciting like some heroic fantasy adventure.

I've been curious for a while about what's inside these dungeons, Phoenix Archives and Hell Hole.
Did anybody actually find and visit them ? If so any screenshots available ? They really look like fun group PVE activities aside of heart assignements.

Game Tips & Guides / Re: faction play & teamkilling
« on: February 04, 2015, 12:16:50 PM »
So just now began this game with a friend.
We met some players who helped us at first.
Then just got immediately teamkilled.
I've played other FOnlines before, so I can understand the every-man-for-himself mindset, but I just hoped for better.
Maybe we joined the wrong faction or something.
Anyways, thanks to those who helped us out at first, I did appreciate that.
I'm just too tired, and getting too old for this sort of thing.

Haven't been shot once in the wild except for ZC. Same faction killing has always been a taboo as far as I've seen, everything solved with words Even factionless are friendly and help you out (ITT: Breaker)
So Ai dun neuw wutchu meen.

I'm also trying to bring one of my friend over to play with me. Somehow I dislike doing TS with people I only know through the internet.

But back to the subject at hand, AoP has a clearly superior developement and gameplay compared to the old fashioned Fonlines which just roughly base themselves around FO1 and 2 critters and threw in MMO features.
I really hope this game gets more recognition.

Leave only little room for customization on top tier weapons like Gauss Rifle or Vindicator, and more mod slots for lower grades.

Honestly I'd love to run around shooting BROF X5 Mauser chucking 9MM at the speed of an IRL minigun. It would really add value to those weapons we discard by basics of being simply unviable in the current version of the game.

CH 1 builds are ok to begin without team.

I'm not really sure to what extent CH affects modules and leadership bonus. What would be a reasonable amount to have as a base for any possible builds ? (excluding loner obviously)

Game Tips & Guides / Build tips: BG

Hey guys, first of all I have to say that I love the game so far.
It's so different from the other Fonline server and in a very good way.

So I've been playtesting with a SG sniper build so far and Im not sure to like it that much. BG and the viable melee builds (maybe) seem more interesting to play around with. Hopefully you guys will be willing to share your expertise to a AoP beginner when it comes to building:

Big Guns:
ST 8
PE 3
EN 9
CH 1
INT 10
AG 8
LK 1

Traits: Fast shot.
Perks:Lifegiver, Bonus rate of fire, Sharpshooter, Silent Hill Death.

LG and Silent hill and Bonus RoF seemed like bread and butter for nearly any build related to big guns and I threw in sharpshooter due to my low perception. Some people may scream at the lack of Luck in my build but Int seemed like a more efficient pool stat for the purpose of crit chance. I have no idea as to what are the STR requirements for the biggest guns in the game but even the Vindicator apparently needs only a base of 7.

There was a lot of debates in the forum about the usefulness of AGI in AoP, so Im really not sure how many points i Should dump in it. Too low seemed like it would greatly hinder the AP regen as well as easy knockouts/armor bypass.
I would like to aim for fancy weapons such as DSR50 but still keep the stats flexible enough to make good use of Milkors and MGs. Eventually dump the SP overload into EWs as there seem to be quite a lot of anti-armor arsenal in that branch.
Anyhow, that is my current idea of a viable BG build.

Suggestions, friends ?
