Idea for a new area

How about adding (sometime in the future) small outpost on outskirts of the city generally where there is no-firing zone. For example a place where everyone can come and trade or sit around in a bar as a neutral zone. Like a market place with merchants with all sort of things to buy.

In RP explanation, could be Far Go traders that bring supplies to the factions in Phoenix and everyone has use of them (they bring water,food,medicine etc) so they respect their rules and trade with them. Ofc they have their own guards to uphold no-firing rule.

Sure, why not? Right now we got the faction bases that are pretty similar to what you describe, but some place as neutral trading/chatting/idling ground for all could be nice.

But not sure if devs wanted various factions to be able to trade if they're hostile to each other. Ofc, such action would be done out of RP.

Could work nicely, but I could see it being used as a trolling station for starting fights way out of your league and hiding in the no fire zone for safety, or if you had neutral guards then they could also be abused similarly.

Add the same 7-8 second grid exit timer, make the zone the same as any HQ: "Myakot dry-fired an Admin, it was uneffective, Admin used banhammer, it's supper effective".

A neutral town/outpost outside of the core would be an amazing addition I think, just a place where anyone can go to hang out + trade a bit, and strike fear into heart of enemy. Plus as someone said it would make it actually possible to become an independent, the outpost could also sell rooms/tents

yeah, i wanna be a neutral, doing brahmin drives, fending off geckos/thugs/bandits. doing delivery quest (postman). adventuring the wasteland, and got a small room in the Cafe of Broken Dreams  ::)

Inter-faction trade sounds like a pretty good idea, and it'd also be pretty nice to just chat to the other factions. I like it.

How about a "no fire zone" bar in the sewers.

Clans can meet up to talk shit and trade, and plan rumbles etc, could be pretty funny.

Reserve the sewers for a fight club! First rule of fight club, we need to talk about fight club so its implemented.  :D

Sewers are for quick escapes, Sewer Rat Factionless weirdos (never saw one, I think they're a hoax) and oh yeah,, Fight Club.

I think having a neutral outpost somewhere outside the Core is better due to reducing exploits, like following people through the grid and opening fire out of the zone.

Could be a merchant outpost where a no-fire treaty is kept in the interests of trade.

I agree to it being outside of the core, anywhere inside is prone to being camped/exploited as you say.
